Lovegrove Dermatology

Doctor Lovegrove is amazing. So is her secretaries, etc. BUT one of the ladies that work in shaunas department are horrible. She is giving horrible unsafe advice that could potentially have patients ending up much worse rather than better. If you end up in shaunas area please please please watch the advice you’re given. Take the advice then get another opinion.

This is a great place to go, the staff are super nice. The environment is cozy. Their office always looks so good! It's a lot cleaner than some Dr's offices I go to, I understand cleaners miss things but, Lovegrove their workplace is always clean. Lovegrove please thank whoever cleans your office, they are amazing!! I wish I knew who it was that cleaned your office, I would love to personally thank them.

I always have the best experience at Lovegrove.The receptionists are friendly, attentive and communicate well.I have been getting facials from the medical aesthetician, Shauna for 10 years. She is passionate about helping her patients to feel good in their skin. She does THE BEST extractions. She takes her time to get everything out and I have never met anyone that can do it as well as she does. I am so grateful for her service and I highly recommend her!

I was referred to Dr. Lovegrove for a suspected rare ulcer wound after battling with it for 18 months and surprisingly, the wait to see her was only about two and a half to three months, even my GP was impressed with the time frame. (I was more than happy to go to London after a not so pleasant experience with a Dermatologist in Sarnia.)One of her assistants, Alex is dealing my case (it's nice to see the same person each time who is familiar with your situation) with Dr. Lovegrove overseeing all aspects. It was taken very seriously immediately, biopsies and a plan of action with regular injections being needed. Again, I am happy to make the drive as needed regularly for competent care.The office itself is very nice and clean, well maintained, modern yet comfortable at the same time. All staff I have encountered are extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful, the front desk staff is great. Alex has been very kind and walks me through each step as well as suggestions made by Dr. Lovegrove, I feel very comfortable with her. Dr. Lovegrove herself is kind, compassionate and definitely knowledgeable...I feel confident being in her care and in her a staff's as well. I am quite relieved to have been referred here and feel optimistic for the first time in a while.If you need any form of dermatology help, elective or otherwise, I would highly recommend Lovegrove Dermatology without question.Edit/Update: After 2 full years now with this ulcer wound and getting nowhere and/or worsening of the condition, being under Dr. Lovegrove's care for only 3 months, I have begun to see significant improvement and I couldn't be happier. She clearly knew how to approach the situation and although full healing will take time, I am extremely optimistic now that it is a reality and am beyond grateful to Dr. Fiona Lovegrove and her staff (...and I plan to receive some cosmetic help on my next visit as well. I have a huge amount of trust in her)!!

Rosacea is not just a skin condition, it is a mental wellness issue too. After two years of incorrect diagnoses and treatment courses with other health professionals (throughout which the condition worsened significantly), Dr. Lovegrove was the one that got it right. Thank goodness for Dr. Lovegrove and her wonderful medical aesthetician Shauna! The correct diagnosis and appropriate medicated cream started the path to rosacea management. Shauna carefully and thoughtfully providing IPL (intense pulsed light) treatments and skin care/product education raised the bar to the next level (a real game changer). With this I have been able to discontinue the medicated cream for the time being. I am so appreciative of the kindness, professionalism and warm smiles of all staff at the Lovegrove clinic. Thank you for improving my life.

Shona is a great medical aesthetician and did a wonder full job on my eyebrows.

Another terrible experience at this clinic. One year ago had an appointment cancelled by the clinic, even though I had had a history of skin cancer. When I expressed my concern about another worrisome spot, I was told to consult my family doctor. This was eventually determined to be another case of skin cancer requiring surgery. I decided to give the Dr. another chance, and three weeks prior to my yearly check up, I received a registered letter informing me that they will not be able to provide me with further medical services. No explanation at all was provided, and I was told to seek out another dermatologist as soon as possible. I can understand all of the negative reviews, as I too have found this office to be extremely unprofessional in their dealings with patients. Would recommend seeking another dermatologist if at all possible.

Dr Lovegrove is a good listener and strong advocate for her derm patients.

I was treated for rosacea by Dr Lovegrove and have had several IPL sessions at her recommendation performed by her in house esthetician Shauna. Dr Lovegrove and her nurse practitioner listened to my concerns and discussed what medications I had used before and prescribed a new mediaction that worked well for me in conjunction with the IPL treatments. Shauna is friendly and explained every step of the IPL process and recommended products and follow up care for after the treatments. The office is clean, professional, and the front desk staff are extremely friendly. My only complaint isn't at all about Dr Lovegrove or her practice but the fact that the elevators in this building are constantly under repair. Don't hesitate to see Dr Lovegrove or Shauna for your dermatological or esthetic needs - you will be well cared for and listened to. My skin looks infinitely better than when I arrived for my first visit so I am very happy with their treatment plan.

I found the staff very welcoming and attentive. Very little wait time in a comfortable environment. Dr. Lovegrove was very professional and informative as well as her assistants. I would definitely recommend this clinic as they were very thorough, patient and kind.
