Kayak Halifax

First time Kayaking and Ed made it look so easy! Me and my wife did the tandem kayak and we loved it. Ed gave us clear instructions on how to operate the Kayak and got us into the water without getting our feet wet which was particularly cool!We got to see some seals as we paddled into the sunset. During the tour, Ed gave us a fun history of the place while also answering all our questions about kayaking.The whole thing felt ethereal!

I can't say enough about the amazing kayak experience that my daughter and I had with Ed (the owner). Ed was so kind, personable, knowledgeable and made this experience the highlight of our trip! Had a great guided tour. I went with my sister and brother in law and had the best time. They had never kayaked before, but by the time our tour was over, they were ready to buy some. Ed was very informative and helpful. Thank you for the great day Ed.

Ed is amazing! He went above and beyond to give us the best experience. Lots of fun facts about the area, and he even offered to take our photos while we paddled. Unfortunately we didn't see any seals, but we had fun. For anyone touring Halifax, and looking for the local experience" this is a vibe!!"

I had a great time kayaking with Ed and Kayak Halifax! The weather in Halifax was not optimal during my stay in Halifax with a lot of fog and rain. This led to having to postpone my kayaking excursion a few times but I was extremely grateful that Ed was able to move my booking to an evening when we were able to get out for a paddle. It still was a little foggy and it did rain on us but that didn't take away from the fun of getting out in the water and paddling around the northwest arm, looking for seals. Ed was great giving us little tidbits about the area and stories about his experiences paddling in the area. We did see some seals popping up and down in the water and it was great to just be able to enjoy the time on the water. I would definitely recommend going out for a paddle with Ed and Kayak Halifax!

We had a great kayaking experience with Ed exploring the North West Arm. We spotted at least 6 seals and a multitude of birds. He’s a great story teller and shared a lot of Halifax’s history and culture. Would definitely come back for a longer tour.

Incredible experience. Ed is a worldly, kind, and calming presence who gave us a sunset tour full of history and stories. The most beautiful night on the water, saw seals and amazing houses and yachts.When we had an emergency the night before, ed was kind enough to rebook us for the sunset tour and I absolutely recommend. A lovely way to see Halifax, and he truly embodies the kind and happy spirit of the people here. A must do activity if you are visiting this lovely city.Great for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. My second time on his tours and I absolutely recommend. Thanks again Ed!
