Day Spa Gift Certificates Hummingbird Hill Spa

My experience here has always been relaxing and enjoyable. The service has always been beyond compare and my personal needs have always been met. The aesthetician who attended to my abused summer feet was able to put them back into wonderful condition. The facial I received was comforting, relaxing and almost put me to sleep. I would highly recommend a visit to this spa as I have returned often.

Horrible experience! I have never been treated so badly ever at a spa and strongly recommend you NOT visit this location. My daughter and I went almost 2 years ago ... same tools were dipped into creams for both of us (how many other people too?). The topper was the hot wax spilt all over my daughter's skirt ... with no compensation (only a recommendation of how to wash it). We were greeted by the VERY UNFRIENDLY owner in a rude manner because we knocked on the wrong door. Despite several e-mail messages requesting my remaining $60 back or a Gift Certificate because I NEVER wish to patronize this business ... the owner either ignores my messages or sends horrible name calling emails (totally unprofessional). Called the local Chamber of Commerce to complain but they are not a member, however I have filed a complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Services. The owner has blocked any negative comments on Facebook ... guess she doesn't want an accurate opinion on her location. Cleanliness and customer service - worst ever!!! Would caution people reading .... note the non-named" positive reviews .... very suspicious."

Girls getaway- My daughters and I enjoy the Day @ the Spa, from our arrival mimosa, cozy robes, by the fireplace sipping mimosa and relaxing, then on to the wonderful services, The rmt was the best I have ever experienced- amazing all I can say is absolutely do not miss the massage" . We always enjoy our day of pampering at Hummingbird HILL.Spa services are consistently of high quality, hard to say what I like the best, massage, 4 layer facialThe staff are friendly and attend to our every need, feel like a princess.We start off the day with mimosa, treats, slip into a robe and just relax, no worries, it is all about me, I have small children and need me time occasionally and Hummingbird Hill is always my choice,The owner and staff are friendly, and give us plenty of room to chat with our friends, socialize and have fun. Can't wait to go back.

I am very disappointed in this business. I purchased a gift card for my mother-in-law to enjoy a pedicure. My mother-in-law took her mom along with her to enjoy an afternoon of pampering on a Wednesday afternoon. The esthetician was very nice, polite, and did a fantastic job. The owner however was not professional at all. Once the treatment was complete, it was downhill from there. Both my mom and nanny had gift certificates. One was recently purchased specifically for a pedicure as a birthday gift, the other was a gift card for $60 off that was quite a bit older, but did not have an expiry date written anywhere on it. The esthetician thought the owner would for sure honour the gift card regardless of the date on it. She was wrong. Mom and Nanny walked to the owners door, were not greeted with a 'hello', just shuffled into the house to make their payment. She immediately asked where my nanny had got her $60 gift card. She said it was a gift. At first, she was about to do the math and only make nanny pay the difference, but then quickly changed her mind and said that the gift card was a promotional item and expired after 1 year (which was never stated anywhere on the card). My mom then offered to pay for nanny's treatment and the owner would not accept a personal cheque. When the debit machine refused to work after several attempts she finally agreed to accept a cheque and ensured to write down all personal information to go with it (even though it was all listed on the cheque). She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not to mention, we purchased the gift card the weekend before Halloween and she intends on closing her business for a few months starting November 18th. Would have been nice to receive that information prior to purchasing the gift card. I do not recommend this business, I'm sure many have had lovely experiences, but my family has not. I am embarrassed that I my mother-in-law and nanny had such a distasteful experience and I wouldn't wish that on anyone else. I think that the business owner has much to learn about proper business practices, etiquette and professionalism.

I recently had a spa pedicure and a waxing treatment at Hummingbird Hill, and both experiences were excellent. The staff were professional and friendly, and the owner was welcoming and personable. I'd recommend it for anyone from those who want a getaway to someone local who needs regular beauty services. The prices are more than reasonable for the exceptional service that you will receive at Hummingbird Hill.
