My friends and I decided to go out for a quick bite to eat at lunch. The consensus was to go and have Subway across the way. As we began to enter the sub store, I looked across and saw Atlantic subs. I don't mind chain food, but I really felt that it was important to support smaller businesses and therefore went across the street.SUPER friendly service. I was so glad I took the extra few steps to try this little place out. The sub gave me a nostalgic feeling and tasted so fresh. Very happy to recommend this place up colleagues and friends. I'm sure we will be back.

Stumbled upon this little gem, and it was exactly what I needed! Walking into Atlantic subs I knew it was a classic submarine sandwich stop - family run feels. Friendly staff and prices are unbeatable for what seems like a 12’’. Bun was fresh even around dinner hours, the assorted sub hit the spot.. Will definitely be coming back again.

Update: I guess the first time was just to lure you to keep coming back. During another visit, gyro quality was not the same as first. I was given very dry gyro meat and the tomatoes in the sub were the edges/tips whereas they had plenty of freshly cut tomatoes. So this was a total disappointment and a lesson not to return. and not recommend to my network. I have heard of similar establishment just a few blocks away that serve the best gyro in town.

For a quick, reasonable subs or gyros, this place is excellent. It looks a bit run down, but the sub makers always clean their hands before each sub is prepared. I’ve always experienced fresh buns, and ingredients (tomatoes, lettuce, onions, sub sauce). A lot cheaper then Subway, a large range and assortment of subs to choose from. Since COVID (owner) said it isn’t worth opening late any more. I’ve tried others, but I’ve always returned to Atlantic Sub if I’m in a mood for a good sub or gyro. Can’t eat in (since COVID and washrooms aren’t available). They take cash, debit or credit cards. Always friendly staff on hand.

The cheese sub I had was excellent. The taste was amazing. The bread was very light and it was not at all filling. Highly recommended and worth a journey if there’s nothing satisfying in your area.

Shop looks run down but don’t let that scare you off. This place can’t be beat in terms of price, quality and friendliness. I ordered the lunch special, which was a 12 inch mixed sub, bag of chips and can of pop, I added hot peppers for a smell fee and still left paying less than $10. Food was delicious and service was quick and friendly.

I hate to do this but it's unavoidable to me.I stopped here and it smelled great. The lady behind the counter was super friendly. Unfortunately, my gyro is almost inedible. It looked good when she wrapped it. But when I got home, the tatziki had gone super thin and it is almost sour tasting. The meat is super dryed out. And, the lettuce is brown from sitting too long.
