Hands down the best lawyer in barrie for tenants rights. 2 years of issues with landlords were dealt with accordingly in a fast, courteous, professional and very understanding manner. Christina is an absolute savior to those in desperate need of a voice when they dont have one against landlords abusing their power. I would give 10 stars if i could. HIGHLY recommended.Quick update : Within 2 months of obtaining this firm to represent me, EVERY issue was not only resolved but an entire overview of the situation has taken place and those responsible will now be answering for their actions. I was dealing with a difficult tenant situation a few months ago when I reached out for help from Christina. I had consulted with a few lawyers but what stood out about Christina was the empathy and care she displayed from the start. The process of working with her has been nothing short of profession. Thankful that she helped me through this process not only as someone who did the paperwork but someone who gave consultation on what was really the best move. Thank you Christina.

I was challenged with this corporation right from the beginning trying to docu sign the retainer from them to represent me in a landlord tenant issue. I'm the landlord.I believe that I was sent the same document five times. I ended up having to print the document and scanning it back signed. This process took at least two hours.Many times I had to call their office to find out what was going on with my case.When we first went to court our case wasn't heard. The case before us went so long there wasn't enough time for ours. I understood that I had to pay the prep and court time fee. $932.25We met again two weeks later for a special court which was only for our matter. I wrote to Christine that I didn't want to pay for a full day when we would only be a couple hours.Our court time was 2 1/2 hours and I was invoiced $649.75 the full amount.Beware of this pricing structure and be prepared to put more time into this matter than you want.This portion is an add on as I have more to say. I just received a threatening email from Christina saying that if I don't pay her tomorrow. Four days after being invoiced! She is going to send invoice to collections and I'll be subject to legal action.Their Retainer Agreement and Fee Schedule outline their policies and fees. Which stated that I have 30 days to pay.

I have hired numerous legal counsels. This was by far the worst. I am filing a complaint with the Law Society of Ontario. In a nutshell, the firm accepted claims by the other side in a landlord tenant case and refused to provide a defense for the the firms client, who they had a duty to represent. My advice. Ensure your counsel will follow direction and have your back
