Dr. MacPherson did my permanent ileostomy surgery in March 2023. He was really thorough during our pre op meetings and procedures and explained everything in a way that made things easy for me to understand. Hopefully I will never have to have another surgery, but I would fully trust him if I had to go through it again.

Dr McPherson is an outstanding surgeon. He allowed me to make my own mind up about surgery, gave me thorough information and had great patience with my desire to try avoiding surgery. When I did have the surgery, I was ecstatic to find he performed it laparoscopically.... I owe my health and life to him.

Dr Malik sleeves me on Aug 30th.He’s thorough and kind!I’m so excited he gave me the gift to get my life/health back!

Dr Ross isCompassionate. Articulate. Sees the patient not just the problem. And her surgical work and follow up are great.

Highly recommend this practice. I’ve had surgeries from 3 of their surgeons, most were scheduled, 2 were unplanned/ urgent, all surgeons were professional yet personable & very genuine.

Dr Malik is an excellent surgeon. In the last 3 years I have had 3 hernias.He takes the time with each of his patients to make sure they understand what the procedure is as well what they will feel like afterwards.For all my procedures, I asked to be on the cancellation list if they had one at that time just encase someone declined. (Lucky for me in all my cases, there were cancellations).Ms. S. Kibb, is one of the personnel assistance to the surgeons in this office, she is extremely connected to what is going on and will find the answer to any of her patients questions, all you have to do is just email her and give her a bit of time.Yes my first hernia surgery 2017, I was very nervous so I did ask another surgeon for a second opinion. I was very happy to know my answers were the same as Dr. Malik's so I asked if he would consider me. I was very happy that Dr. Malik agreed to fit me in to his schedule. (I was very lucky to receive his expertise).He does phoned his patients at home a few days after their surgery I was very surprised when he took the time for me.All the Hospitals I had surgery in were wonderful. VGH and the Jubilee for my surgeries.As I blacked out I could hear him briefing his technicians and doctors too what was going to happen and what to expect.In my opinion, any one under his guidance is going to be a good surgeon someday.Yes, I recommend him, he is a great surgeon, and I am fortunate to have him here in Victoria.

Dr. Malik performed emergency surgery a couple of weeks ago. He was empathetic with a great positive attitude when I was so nervous. Very caring. He gave me the confidence I needed to believe everything was going to be fine and better. He encouraged me to stay positive. The surgery took 5 hours as he carefully took his time. Great angels still live on earth and he is one of them. Heartfelt thanks you were there for me when I needed it. Good bless you! So greatful for you.

Saw Dr. Hayashi for the first time. Waited for over 30 minutes in a treatment room before he finally showed up. He asked me questions, but kept looking to my husband and not me. I’m the patient, not my husband so direct yourself to me. Less than 10 minutes and he was gone. Nothing resolved, not impressed at all.
