Cineplex Cinemas Sherwood Park

We use this place for our movies all the time. We were surprised when they switched the seats around, but happy they did! More room for you to enjoy, and with not too many people heading to movies anymore, it's a perfect accommodation for movie lovers!

All of the employees are incredible! I have never received such a high quality of service before! And I never go out! The girl with the star belt at outtakes was especially excellent! She served me frozen yogurt and served in general! Period!

Much better since the new renovations, I saw Mario with my little sister around the beginning of May, and they finally put new reclining seats in (at least some, but possibly all) the auditoriums. Sound and picture was excellent, as usual, and this was for a standard 2D showing. I still prefer how Landmark does their concession, but if I can't make it over there, Cineplex does the job just fine, and has improved greatly since I saw Sonic 2 there last year.

We recently held our 2 of our son's birthday parties here. We decided to take them and some of their friends to watch the new Pixar movie, Elemental. The party room is nice and large with room for all 14 kids. We brought our own cupcakes and they stored it in their fridge for us during the movie. We were able to put the rest of our stuff in the party room and was appropriately locked to keep our belongings safe. They took our popcorn and drink order from all of us, and then helped us bring all the food and drink to the theatre where the kids were seated. After the movie we went back to the party room for cupcakes and presents. They had a tv in the party room so the kids could watch something as we got stuff ready. Seats in our theatre were awesome. Comfy recliners and all the kids loved it.Most of all, we want to say a BIG thank you to Kendra. She helped us with everything from our drink orders, handing out food, to helping us decorate the room and getting things organized. The kids were a handful and she did her best to help calm everyone down. She safeguarded all the cupcakes and cookies so the kids didn't steal any. We cannot express how much we appreciated her and all the help she did for us. We hope someone sees this and let's her know how grateful we are.

This is the theater I go to most of the time, and it's a good theater. The renovations have greatly improved the place. It gets a good chunk of the new movies. The popcorn is tasty. The seats are comfortable. Unfortunately, the sound needs work. Saw The Pope's Exorcist in theater 5 and it was way too quiet. Saw Evil Dead Rise in theater 9 and it was way too loud. I enjoy loud movies, but this was excessive. I know it wasn't just the movie as the commercials were too loud as well and I even had to tell a staff member, but still didn't get fixed.

The garbage cans were all overflowing, the floors were filthy, covered in popcorn and sticky, the line for popcorn was across the room, while 4 employees were chatting at the yogurt concession with nobody there, and according to the bathroom log, it hadn't been cleaned since 4:10pm and it was after midnight. Not a great experience!!

Not bad actually. Clean and pretty quick at the cashier. Lots of parking, game zone too and they also have the Dbox seats (not sure I personally like them)... But out of all the Cineplex, this one was pretty good!

Just got a new renovation moving the arcade games to the front entrance and the birthday rooms more out of the way and to the side. The popcorn is the best I've had and the prices are not to expensive. Lots of different candy and sweets to choose from aswell. It is always rotating through new movies and will always have something worth watching. All the staff are on average around the age of 20 and they're not mean at all. Only wish there wasn't as much popcorn on the floor.

Great little theater. Staff were amazing. Sheena , one of the ydhers was amazing. Helped us alot. Food was good. Highly recommend

My experience may be skewed because I've barely gone to the theater in the last 5 years, but I really enjoyed this theater. The seats were very comfortable, the sound was good and it seemed very clean.
