New favourite ramen place. The broth is delicious and the best part about their ramen. Favourite item on their menu is by far the soft shell crab bun by far!

The soft crab bun was very delicious. Highly recommended ~The ramen was unique but the portion was very tiny. One slice of chai shu and half egg…Thanks.

First key me tell you the prosYou can order more noodles! So grateful for this. The gyoza was very good I Loved the flavor and his crispy it was and the spicy mayo sauce was very good. The pork was amazing I would say one of the best pork toppings I've had on ramen in a long long time.Cons: I had the tonkatsu broth, and the broth has a decent flavor and I liked the noodles but it just didn't give me the punch I was looking for. Ramen should wow me explode in my mouth. This didn't do that. But it was a good decent bowl of ramen. My partner order the tonkatsu tonton and I did not like that one at all.I would come back to try more of their other menu items but Santouka is still king in this city.

We stumbled upon this while walking on main Street and I'm glad we did. The best quality about this restaurant is the service. The staff are extremely friendly and they're constantly making sure that you're having a good time during the meal. The fried chicken was the best dish we ordered, the Ramens were all right.

Hard to believe that it took so long for us to try out Afuri... This was one of the places that we had planned to try out when we visited Japan a few years ago. Fortunately, this shop opened up a whole lot closer to us.The ramen does give a reminiscent vibe of the great ramen we had in Japan. Tried the Ninniku Shoyu (on the bolder side of the flavour spectrum and might be too much if you're always having it). The Yuzu Shio is a lighter and more subtle flavour profile. Both had loads of noodles in the bowl.Sometimes difficult to find a good gyoza in Vancouver but the winged buta gyoza was super tasty with light crispness and yummy dipping sauce. Tori karaage was suitably crispy to the bite.Great addition to the already burgeoning number of ramen places in town.

Stopped on the way home and sat at the window. They gave a happy hour from 4-6 but it seems some appies are only $1 off.I love their yuzu shoyu ramen. It's light, fresh and doesn't make me feel awful after eating it. I also like that they have a gluten friendly option where you can replace your noodles with tofu noodles, although costly at $4.50.The ramen has delicious noodles, a perfect egg and they place the seaweed on top so it doesn't get soggy. The char sui is fatty and soft and perfectly charred.

Really good ramen, nice and warm, but could be hotter.Karaage and gyoza was crispy and hot too.Portions are medium and could be better. The fancy drinks were delicious, but the glass is too small and the ice took up most of the glass.Server can be more attentive to customers and refill water, etc.Atmosphere is good, but too many fruit flies, I recommend to the owner that they get a professional pest control company to come and help with that.

Definitely love afuri clear soup broth with yuzu fragrance. Ika and chicken karaage both very good with flavorful seasonings. However, every dish was a little bit too salty to me. Great atmosphere and vibes, I'll visit again to try their tsukemen.

We both ordered the Ninniku ramen, which had a very flavourful broth. Noodles and egg were both cooked perfectly. Overall, a very good bowl of ramen, but just a tad bit pricey.
