Fox & Monocle Cafe
We just had the most amazing dinner here. Every single dish was so packed with flavour and perfectly cooked/prepared. The highlights were the beef tartare, chicken liver pate, croquets, beef pie and pappardelle. All baking and bread items were SUPERB! We dine out often and this place is at the very top of our list of best dining experiences. We will be back again very soon!

our ferry got cancelled on a rainy and windy day so we had to wait for 4 hrs before we get on the next one. this cafe is about 10min walk near the water.i love their cute deco and chilling music. i got potato leek soup and my partner got a chicken sandwich. both of them are very tasty. you know they made the food with their heart. their coffee is also one of the best i have ever had, nice aroma. i really appreciate such a hidden gem on a bad weather day like this. i would come back whenever i need to take the ferry again

Fox & Monocle Cafe
We went this morning for coffee and baked goods (the rhubarb upside down cake is phenomenal), and then were so impressed that we came back in the evening for dinner. We had the cheese pastry appetizer, the goat cheese tart, and the lingcod and mushroom pasta as our mains. Everything was just right. What a hidden gem!

Fox & Monocle Cafe
A North Saanich gem. I discovered this restaurant while reading the Air Canada enroute magazine. We decided to try it over Christmas. We were not disappointed! Ross & Tracie deliver on a great concept restaurant - cafe/bakery for part of the day and then restaurant dining with locally sourced food in the evening. We tried various dishes and loved all of them with excellent service. I would highly recommend you try this place.

Short walk from the ferry terminal and you're deep into a hug of delicious baked goods, surprisingly good coffee, and a really warm atmosphere (there's a fireplace!).

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here on the patio with our little dog. We really appreciate dog-friendly patios as our little senior can't be left alone at home for very long.The food is stunningly delicious. We had several dishes that used pastry which I understand is one of the specialties of the chef. Absolutely loved everything. Service was also excellent.

A small place slinging out amazing dishes and wine. Was looking for just a cafe but surprised to find such an interesting spot. Wish I had more room to try all the dishes.

The food at Fox & Monocle Cafe was delicious! It rivals any 5 star dining experience across Canada. The dishes were creative, beautiful and incredibly tasty. That atmosphere was relaxed and service staff were lovely. Absolutely a must try!

Both times my husband and I have been here the dining experience as a whole has been superb. The servers were extremely knowledgeable and polite and food was served promptly. This time they had recently switched to the spring menu and we ordered the gougere, house made bread, and chicken liver pate to start. All of the starters were very flavourful but the chicken liver pate is so creamy and delicious that we will be ordering it every time we go as long as they keep it on the menu. For the main course we had the lamb pie and for desert we shared the apple tarte tatin. The pastry in every dish we tried was excellent, when visiting it is a must try in at least one dish! Overall wonderful experience and in our opinion, the best quality and most delicious dining experience that Victoria has to offer.
