This is a beautiful dedication to the Acadian people. The monument itself has some history about the deportations that I found very interesting. Definitely something to stop and admire if you're strolling along the Riverfront.

Historical monument regarding the Acadians. I have Acadian ancestry so it was an interesting stop for me. Nice place to view the river and a great walkway for a nice long walk. Great place to watch the tidal bore come in. Easy to get to off of the adjacent parking lot. Monument itself is very well done and is one of many located in several countries, documenting the Deportation.
