Buccaneer Marina

Great place to bring your boat in for work! The entire team that helped me. Diane, Bob, Brian and John were so helpful, they went over and above. John kept me up to date on how the work progressing, gave me some great advice and even took the boat for a test run and was so kind as to even put it back into my boathouse when they finished up! Highly recommend to everyone, trustworthy and hardworking team.

Great place. Got live bait (the only place that has it around the Sunshine Coast). Got fuel in the evening since they are open late. Staff are friendly and helpful. Been going to John Henry’s a long time but will be making the trip to buccaneer from now on.

Small, quiet and lovely Marina. Not many spots available, but for sure the owners will do everything in their power to accommodate you. Power, water and fuel available, together with a convenience store. Be ready to take a break from the outside world, as the cell phone reception in the area is not the best. Going uphill, next to the office, there is free wifi.

Always friendly and polite. And have always given amazing customer service. Your Water Taxi driver went above and beyond for me when I realized I'd accidentally left some work stuff on Thormenby Island, and even tho he was supposed to be done for the day was willing to shuttle me back to go get it. Cannot say how much I appreciated the kindness shown fantastic service.

We are coming here every year! Great service, best fuel prices. LIVE BAIT! Friendly staff- Bob hooked me up with some mooching tips last year. Great tackle for everything you'll need. Picked up a rod last year, and another this year! Being boaters- have to compliment your captains for being courteous on approaches to anchorages, especially during challenging busy times. You guys are great!

They let us park our car and drop into the water with our kayaks for 6 bucks. Worth it. Pretty paddle.

Nice quaint marina for putting in a canoe and paddle around, bonus for blackberry bushes. Difficult to find parking

Took the ferry from here to North Thormanby Island. Their taxi service seemed the most economical compared to the others we inquired at. Good service, patient and friendly staff.

We took a short afternoon day trip over to Thormanby Island and used Buccaneer Marina's water taxi service to get there. We couldn't be more pleased with outstanding service and inviting manner from all the staff and captain! The staff went WAAAY above and beyond searching for my wife's lost" sunglasses (THANK YOU for your call) and both the staff & captain were amazingly friendly and cordial. The captain went out of his way to show us some of the sights/views along the way there to Thormanby Island. It was a fab day and definitely wouldn't be as nice without their help. If I could give zero stars I would. We booked the water taxi from vaucroft to the mainland for 1030 Thanksgiving Monday. At 1030 we see the water taxi go into buccaneer Bay and then go straight back to the marina without stopping to pick us up at the vaucroft dock. This has left us stranded at the dock with no way to get back and make our ferry. Our truck is parked at their marina so we have to get back there. They are taking no calls because it's Thanksgiving leaving us stranded here until someone hopefully shows up at the dock to give us a ride over.Update. Someone finally answered the phone. Guess they heard it ringing since we called so many times. The driver was very friendly but charged us the full price even though we should have been on the 1030 with other people.
