Called in shop morning today. Had a perm. Awesome experience for a quite reasonable price. Highly recommend. As a matter of fact, my friend has decided to visit the shop after I shared my experience with him.

I am very disappointed by my experience today. The person who did my haircut made me feel like he was fully confident of giving me long layers that would frame my face but even now I’m not sure what he has done. He didn’t section my hair through my middle and proceeded with the haircut with my hair partitioned to the side. Mid way through the haircut he was busy making phone calls and seemed preoccupied with other things.After a while he proceeded to straighten my hair. I told him that I wanted a hair wash and not straightening but he said that he was busy with other customers (who were not present yet at the salon) and apologized. By that point I just wanted to leave. He didn’t show me how my hair looked from behind and all sides. And didn’t seem to want to know what I felt about my haircut. I am now left with an uneven haircut and I a not so great end to my year.He seems like a nice person but I would not recommend him or the place for a professional haircut for women.

Very disappointed with my haircut after seeing the countless good reviews. I showed my barber a picture and did not receive anything like my haircut. I perceived a choppy bowl like cut that was very uneven. It was so uneven that I even had to cut parts of my hair because it was sticking out. Furthermore, many people around me have commented about the poor quality of the haircut within the past couple days. The shampoo and conditioning was good though. I wish I could have given a better review but the haircut I got has left me deeply regretting it

It feels like a hole-in-the-wall, low-profile barber/salon. As a guy who's not fussy I came with low expectations but was surprised by how efficient their haircut was. After showing them a photo of my clean previous haircut they recommended not going too short and I'm glad I trusted their sense. They gave me a good trim and a shampoo, too, for a very affordable price.

I have been coming to Kim’s for many years… and I always walk out of Kim’s with big smile of satisfaction… great service, great styling and decent price! What more do you expect from your hairdresser!

Kim is such a great guy. His hair cut service is 10/10. Definitely recommended. Give it a try and I promise you will not regret. If you live around Yonge X Finch, it is a must go. If you don’t live around the area, it is also totally worth it!
