What an amazing experience. Courteous catering staff. Moreover All meats offered were Halal and openly labelled. Well thought out from a diversity and inclusion perspective. Great job by Queen’s University for hosting at Donald Gordon centre

Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre
We had a nice room with park like view from the window, with the usual small fridge, coffee maker, comfortable bed but no microwave. Bathroom was well stocked with extra toilet paper and tissue, soaps, even a shower cap. There was very welcoming service at the front desk check in and at the restaurant for breakfast. The food was excellent, well above average. Nice lounge areas to sit in. We will be returning next month.

Amazing hospitality from concierge and for people helping with breakfast. Genuinely friendly and warm people and making sure you go out with a full stomach. Rooms are great too. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to Goodes Hall so it's quite convenient

I have been here two years in a row now. Great location for what I need it for. Only wish is that there was a pool! But, very clean, nice friendly service, and nice size rooms.

Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre
I've photographed a few weddings here at the Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre. The place is very accessible and a beautiful location for a ceremony and reception. They have several rooms and a pub for receptions, all of which are great spaces. The food is excellent and staff incredibly helpful and hospitable. Looking forward to photographing more weddings here in the future!

Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre
Hotel was well maintained but showed its age. Rooms were standard with a mini fridge. Microwave and kettle are available upon request. They had a lovely little courtyard in the middle with plenty of tables and umbrellas. From 7am-9am, you can head down to their dining room and enjoy complimentary breakfast complete with coffee/tea/juice. All staff members provided excellent customer service, but Mary, Megan and Stephanie were amazing! Definitely recommend staying here for its great value. Just know the location is not ideal if you’re looking for any restaurants or night life at a close walking distance. Also the shower heads were low flow.

Went for an all day company meeting, did not expect the service and food they had prepared and served. Best continental breakfast I've ever had along with such a great buffet lunch. Even at the end of meeting they provided sushi and such on the way out. Excellent all the way around. Service was second to none. Facilities were also nice and clean and welcoming.

This is one of the better kept secrets for places to stay in Kingston! Our friend found it and decided to try it instead of staying at one of the name brand hotels. Turned out to be a great decision!Service was stellar & super friendly - like small town/mom & pop shop!Rooms were modern and very clean. Lots of inside and outside sitting areas.The included breakfast was one of the (if not THE) best in recent memory. Excellent variety and quality.The only knocks against it are the thin walls between the bathrooms and location - not walking distance to downtown or most of the touristy spots but it’s on Queen’s campus. If you have a car, it’s a non-issue.Overall super value for the price point.

The hotel is clean and neat, staff is welcoming as well. However, the hotel charged my credit card without asking for my consent due to miscommunication. I understood the charge is necessary as a result of the stay. However, knowing there is miscommunication, couldnt they approach me proactively and notify the billing as I was told there wouldn’t be any charges? From a customer service POV, charging customer credit card without informing given unclear communications until I noticed myself, is the worst customer service ever. You could access my credit card doesn’t mean you can charge it without notice/invoice. What a terrible customer management esp given the hotel is affiliated with QueensU and most guests are on some kind of programs with Queens.

Fast efficient friendly service at check-in. The rooms are spotless and well laid out. The staff allowed use to take our bicycles to our room. The breakfast at Donald Gordon Hotel was fantastic, buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, seasoned hash brown potatoes, pancakes, several choices of fresh fruit, croissants and choc-au-pain as well as a very good cup of coffee. The table service staff are very attentive and friendly making our stay all the more enjoyable. When we return later in the day to the hotel, even though we were no longer paying guest, the staff still allowed us to change out of our cycling gear and get clean up after a 100k ride. That you to all the staff and Donald Gordon Hotel for a memorable stay. We will definitely stay on our next visit to Kingston.
