DC Dance Club

My partner and I have absolutely loved our classes at the DC Dance Club! We came to the studio as beginners and have had a blast learning from the different instructors. We've danced with almost all of the instructors now and each was very attentive, caring and non-judgemental as we tried our best to not trip over our feet. We both feel comfortable dancing in public now after a few short months of classes! Lessons are well priced and are very flexible to best fit around your schedule. DC Dance Club has been an absolute gem for us and we can't wait for our next class!

If you're looking for a school for dance or a place to dance, this is one of the best in Calgary. The floor is excellent. The place is nicely appointed. And the owners and teachers are really nice.

I should have reviewed this place years ago. It's great.My wife and I do not take dancing lessons there but go as often as we can for Saturday night dancingThey have a large physically beautiful ballroom, great music, a small but decent selection of wines and beers, good seating and tables.Best of all they have great music. The owners act as DJs, and the music is at a proper civilized volume level for dancing, loud enough to hear the music and beat, but not so loud it destroys all conversation, hurts your ears and leaves them ringing the next day.

We took private lessons at DC Dance Club for our first wedding dance and couldn't have been happier with the outcome! I would recommend taking lessons here for any couple getting married. Miro was an excellent instructor - patient, fun and very helpful. He made us feel comfortable as complete beginners, and our progress was better than I could have imagined in the short time period we had. We received many compliments from our guests on the the choreographed dance he taught us.

My whole life I had always been too shy and embarrassed to dance much, but I always appreciated watching other people dance. Taking lessons with Andrew at DC Dance Club changed that for me.My sister has been taking dance classes at DC Dance for years, and so when my wife and I decided to take dance lessons for our wedding it was a natural choice. We decided that we wanted to do something special, more than just swaying back and forth or doing simple steps, but I was still pretty nervous about it. Over 12 weeks Andrew helped choreograph and teach us how to perform the dance, and we loved every single second of it. We looked forward to our lessons each week, and in the end he helped put together something amazing for us.I was nervous about many things leading up to the wedding, hoping everything would go the way we wanted and planned, but our dance was not one of those. I've never felt so confident dancing as I did when we performed our first dance on our wedding night, even in front of 120 of our closest friends and families. We wow'ed the whole room, and it's all thanks to Andrew for all his hard work and lessons, and to Carol and Miro for giving us the opportunity to learn in the first place.If you like dance, and you want to try your hand at it, even if you're nervous, shy, or have never done it before, I can think of no better place than DC Dance Club. They have individual and group lessons, and the instructors are all amazing and fun. I thought I just wanted some lessons so that we would be decent at our wedding, but now that it's done we've found ourselves missing it, and we can't wait to go back for more.

This place is absolutely amazing. We're getting married so thought we should take some lessons. Carol is patient, super helpful, and an absolute pleasure. Angela makes you look good!!! You learn so much here! More than just the box. There are lifts. They teach you how to safely do it all. Beautiful team. Great resources! We love coming here! Cannot recommend it enough!

We cannot recommend DC Dance enough. Check them out. You won't regret it.We had so much fun taking dance classes for our wedding. The classes were a great date night / break that we could look forward to leading up to our wedding. Working with Miro, Carol, and Angela is amazing. As complete beginners, they took our wedding song, choreographed an amazing routine, and worked with us to make sure we looked great performing it. It's one week away from our wedding and we are super excited to wow our guests with our first dance.

We had our private choreographed dance lessons at DC Dance Club, and boy oh boy, did we have everyone's full attention and applause on the dance floor as we did our first dance on our wedding day! The instructors were all super professional, patient and fun. They helped us get all the steps right and ready for our special day. And of course, our first dance is what everyone talks about! My husband gifted me dance classes for Christmas. It has been so much fun and the atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly. Angela is fantastic as is Carol, Denise and everyone else on site. Beautiful facility. I would recommend!
