Good staff, friendly but wouldn't return a bag of food over half full that my dog had an allergy to. At 100 dollars a bag you'd think they would have a good return policy. Rens pet store will return anything half full if it is related to an allergy or they don't like it. ( Without a receipt)

recently moved to brantford having frequented the pet valu in our former home town weekly... the Owner raj and employee refused to provide the pet valu brand of shampoo and conditioner that is always available at store we are used to despite my explaining my dog is sensitive and has allergies they said I could purchase it on my own, why should I have to purchase something that’s always been available at our previous store, and further more the employeee tried to say they will no longer be offering any kind of shampoo with the dog bath?! So what are you paying for?? The whole point of coming to these things is so I don’t have the mess and inconvenience of lugging around products. All around terrible customer service will be making the two hour drive to continue to support our former pet valu, suggest you also spend your money elsewhere

The staff at the King George Rd location in Brantford are so helpful as well as knowledgeable. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

I went in today for some help with issues I'm having with my cat and my dog. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were able to recommend several products and advise on how to handle the situation. I will be back again

Staff here is so friendly and attentive without being pushy, and always open to giving great advice. Lia served me today and she was wonderful. Great clean store that is always well stocked.

While the prices here are MARGINALLY more than big box pet stores, the convenience, and proximity to other stores I frequent, make it less of an issue for most purchases....or furrchases if you like bad puns. Staff are always cheerful and polite. The dog wash is worth every penny!! So much easier than doing at home, and there aren't 20 towels to wash afterwards, walls to dry etc.
