Barber and Haskill

Can’t say enough good things about the service/repair team. They are fair, knowledgeable and friendly. All which cannot be said about the sales staff. Went in to get a washer and dryer priced. Complete waste of time. Say with the sales guy not giving any information, not providing me with any prices or even a print out of the model I was looking at. The only thing he gamble me was his business card so at least I know who not to go back to.Wouldn't answer my questions when asked multiple times and kept trying to push what was in stock when it was not what we wanted. Had to ask THREE Times for the model number in which he didn’t write down or print out just spewed out the numbers and letters as fast as he could, I still don’t know if I got them right so now I have nothing to compare to. Very very poor sales staff

Customer service was above and beyond. The staff there were informative and interacted well with my younger daugther. Friendly and professional. I will be back here for future purchases for appliances or BBQ needs.

Very knowledgeable on Weber bbq’s. My genesis works flawless for 5 years I thought I’d add the traveller to my camping gear and very impressed.

Midland Ontario Area Appliance Buyers “Beware of Barber & Haskill”Our family purchased $7,746.08 in Whirlpool appliances and other products from this store. We waited for delivery while our home was being restored following a fire. Our order was placed on December 17, 2021 and delivered after we moved back home on June 12, 2022. The store had use of our 50% deposit funds for six months. The store had made a deal with Whirlpool that customers must go through a 1-800 number for any product assistance. We contacted Barber & Haskill three times; they did nothing for us. We called Whirlpool 1-800 number they required us providing personal information. After a long time on the phone, they decided to send a local technician. The local technician called and told us we would be responsible for the service costs. Bottom line, no Barber & Haskell customer service. No Whirlpool warranty on their products. The Whirlpool appliances were only in use for three months. Two of the products had serious defects.DO NOT SHOP AT Barber & HASKILL – They do not back what they sell.STAY AWAY FROM WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS – VERY POOR QUALITY & NO WARRANTYTiny, Ontario

WOW! We recently bought a new home, and we needed all new appliances. I had looked at a few places in Barrie, however I wasn't overly impressed with their selection and customer service. I decided to make the drive to Barber and Haskill after receiving a flyer in the mail. Not to mention that catchy jingle on the radio! I went in with my baby boy, and we were greeted by Lee. I told Lee what I was looking for and he helped me find it immediately. He brought me over to an amazing line of appliances, and he knew everything about them. He was so knowledgable and was able to answer every question I had. There were several times where Lee was able to answer my question before I had even asked it. My family and I came in 2 weeks later to place our order. My husband and I brought our 3 kids with us - and Lee welcomed everyone with open arms. Everyone at the store was welcoming and patient with our kids while we ordered and they were so nice to them. We will always make the drive and purchase any future appliances from Lee and Barber and Haskill. We are so happy with the service we received - and the prices we paid were fantastic as well!! Thank you so much Lee!

Excellent customer service! Nice to go purchase somewhere where the salesperson (Lauren) attends to you right away, is caring, knows her stuff, answers all questions, follows up and make sure that you're satisfied. The owner Tom was also very kind and helpful on a subsequent visit.

I was in the store looking to see if they sold RV mattresses. They did not have what I needed. However, Lee was super helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend looking him up when you are looking to buy. Thankyou..
