Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff!

This is an amazing pharmacy. I will admit that I’m biased because I had a two week practicum there, but they’re worth publicizing.They really put an emphasis on convenience, cost-saving and making the best decision for your health.They’re typically able to get your prescriptions ready within 10 minutes. They also have a phone app which allows people to send refill requests, which can be convenient for people who need their medications early in the next morning but couldn’t get into the pharmacy before closing.They also spend a good deal of time figuring out how to save you money. For instance, with expensive medications like Humira ($1000/month) they put the effort of contacting the manufacturer to obtain coverage for patients struggling to pay for their prescriptions. For people without insurance, they’re willing to give whatever reasonable quantity to help you save dispensing fees.They’re also amazing at ensuring that people get the best health possible. Alana has made many recommendations to physicians which resulted in reduced side effects and better effectiveness of the medication. She’s been more than happy to help people be informed about their health. If anyone has questions about their medications, please ask the Vanderhoof Medicine staff for a medication review. It’ll take a bit of time, but you can save money and improve your health in the long run.

Great place I can even pick up my prescriptions from my vet there for my cat.
