Chau was our wedding caterer and they did an exceptional job to of both creating and delivering a custom Korean-inspired menu for our wedding cocktail hour and reception buffet! It was very important for my husband and I to have elements of our Korean culture represented in the food served in our wedding and Chau’s ability to incorporate elements of the flavours we wanted into the menu is a testament to their skill and creativity as a caterer. Their responsiveness and professionalism when working with us to create the ideal menu and handling unexpected problems during the planning process was wonderful and demonstrated their dedication to making sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day.On the day of the wedding, the food was presented beautifully, and our wedding guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything tasted. In particular, the Korean Chicken Baos and Korean Popcorn Chicken appetizers were very popular and went out fast!We highly recommend their catering services as Jane, Ashley and the rest of the Chau team will work hard to create a custom menu that perfectly fits your tastes and preferences and deliver an unforgettable food experience at your wedding!

We wanted a meal that would be interesting enough for the foodies but not too scary for the meat and potato folk, and Jane was able to toe that line perfectly with an Asian fusion buffet! She easily accommodated our requests or guided us to better options, and was lovely throughout the process (basically acting as wedding planner and therapist I might add!). Her staff was also great on the day. Warm and great attention to detail. I just wish I had time to eat more in all the excitement of the day. Thanks Jane and crew!

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday and hired Chau. My experience was excellent from my 1st phone call with Ashley, the Event Coordinator until the last second of the event.We decided on 3 stations (Pho station, Chinese BBQ station and the Bao station) along with the bar service. The food was phenomenal and everything was so fresh. The 3 onsite chefs Jane (Chau), Jane and JP were friendly and interacted with our guests. The service was excellent, Ashley - the onsite server / coordinator was amazing, she took care of everything and as the host, I was able to enjoy the night. Jason the bartender was great. I hestiated at 1st with the bar service, I am so happy I book this as the bar service / Jason really elevated the experience. Do not hesitate on this one!Everyone complimented the food all night, they enjoyed the unique experience and how wonderful the staff were. If you are looking to host a delicious, memorable night, Chau is the way to go.

Chau Toronto catered our wedding in May 2022! Jane was so amazing to work with and went above and beyond to accommodate us! Chau created a customized modern cantonese flavours-inspired menu for us. She asked us all the right questions when my partner and I could not pinpoint what exactly we wanted and delivered far beyond what we even imagined! We received so many compliments on our food, especially the taco bar! Our original venue canceled on us at the last minute and Jane provided us with a list of potential venues that Chau has catered for in the past! When we decided on a venue that did not entirely meet the requirements cooking there, Jane simply said that she will “make it happen” and it did :) Jane also was very quick with responses, replied even late at night and communicated with other vendors to make the catering process smoother. Would highly recommend her to cater any social event!

We contacted Jane at Chau to cater our backyard wedding reception for 60 guests. We were blown away by how amazing the food was! Not a single guest didn't come up to us to rave about how delicious the food was and that it was easily the best food that they'd had at a wedding! Jane was great to communicate with and accommodating for changes we had for the menu. Her and her team also managed to do it all in a residential kitchen, the food was served hot, and it was perfectly cooked. All the dishes were familiar enough for the pickiest guests, but adventurous enough that everyone was excited to go back for seconds. Jane was also extremely collaborative and accommodating when our dates and plans were changing constantly due to COVID restrictions and the service went off safely and smoothly. If I ever get married again, you can bet I'll be calling on Jane and the team at Chau!

We had used Chau Toronto to cater a celebration of life and Jane and her team were wonderful to work with. They were very accommodating to our needs and our unconventional event space especially given our short timeline. She was also very responsive throughout the planning process.

We were so delighted with Chau for our wedding party this past September. We had about 100 guests at our party, held at a brewery in Toronto. A number of our guests had dietary needs (Vegan, gluten-free, celiac) and Jane and her team were able to create delicious options to meet everyone's needs. The menu was thoughtfully tailored to our tastes - we had an incredible BBQ station, with a generous array of custom BBQ sauces, with vegan options as well. We really loved the bao station, as did our friends! Something out of the ordinary that our guests still mention! The salads were creative, colourful and so flavourful. Jane was so kind to come and find us each time a food station opened, so that we could be the first at the station; this guided our guests to the next delicious delicacy and also ensured we got to eat! The set up and take down seemed to happen as if by magic, although I know a great deal of work went into it. Jane is a superbly talented chef; she and her team are so friendly, professional and kind. It was a pleasure working with everyone, from the early planning stages, to the tasting, meetings with our venue and of course the night itself! Thanks Jane, and everyone at Chau!

Chau catered my wedding and it was absolutely amazing ! Jane created a custom cushion menu for us since our families are of mixed cultures. The dishes were loved by everyone and we received many compliments on the food!Ashley was also amazing in making sure everything was on track. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a friendly, professional and yummy catering experience!

We feel so fortunately that we found Chau. They have truly made our wedding reception dream come true. Jane was able to combine our hometowns’ taste and our favourite cuisine together to make a reception that reflects who we are! She took detailed notes throughout tasting and venue visit, and our feedback was reflected in the final reception. Everyone LOVED the food and was so impressed at the taste, quality, and uniqueness. Many guests told me this was the best wedding dinner they have ever had, and even the photographer (who has been to a lot of weddings) was super impressed! My fiance and I were over the moon happy with the service we received from Jane and the team at Chau! We worked with Chau for our traditional Vietnamese engagement ceremony and from beginning to end, the experience was smooth and pleasant. We asked for a menu that was inspired by Vietnamese flavours and Jane and her team came up with an amazing spread. Everyone at the party raved about the food. Some even went for thirds! Besides the delicious eats, Jane and her team were incredibly attentive to our family, our guests, and made sure their needs were met. They arrived on time, served fresh and tasty food right in our kitchen, and were a calming presence during a busy day. We would recommend Chau's services in a heartbeat!
