I have been in healthcare for over 25 years - Dr. Atkinson has the best bedside manners I have seen. He also has a way of alleviating concerns and fears with humor which really helped my mom get through the extensive surgery

Dr.Atkinson and his staff are one of the most unprofessional people I have dealt with.He and his staff have a completely nonchalant attitude toward their patients and their needs.Do yourself a favor and get a referral to a different doctor

I had my first colostomy ever (i am 63) and I was very worried about it. I did the day before cleansing and all that good stuff. When they wheeled me in I was really anxious. Dr. Atkins said a few kind words and asked me if I had ever had one of these before. He has a kind and gentle manner about him and his staff are just delightful. Everyone was great and I just felt so much better about everything. Don't be afraid, he and his team are just great and I am thankful for them. Came home and had supper. :)

I Haven't had a Doctor take me seriously for 6 years until I was luckily referred to him. He very quickly delivered my diagnosis and made a treatment plan right away. He has completely turned my health around and I am now in remission For Crohn's Disease. He still see's me every 6 months to monitor and make sure everything is okay. Since becoming Pregnant they have referred me to IBD Pregnancy specialists and have been monitoring me closely to ensure I stay in remission. Dr. Atkinson and his Nurse Shauna are the most professional and caring set of healthcare professionals I have ever met and I am truly appreciative for everything they have done for me
