Dumpling Xuan
We had shrimp and pork dumplings. The shrimp dumplings were good but they hadn't used the freshest ingredients and it had a fishy smell. The outer layer of the pork dumplings were very thick and it overpowered the filling. We also had fried beef noodles. The waiter was very insistent that we took it saying that's the most popular dish on the menu and we followed her advice. I think this was because this was among the easier items to make, but we didn't know at the time of ordering. They were able to give to us within a few minutes of ordering. It was extremely oily and we couldn't complete it as a result. I wish we had gone with the beef noodle soup (which we wanted to order before the insistence of the waiter) which was a more popular dish according to yelp.

Dumpling Xuan
Overall a good place to eat good Chinese and Taiwanese food. The service was good and quite fast. We ordered the fried vegetable dumpling, steamed pork and leek dumpling, scallion pancake beef roll and sauteed flat noodles. Except for the fried vegetable dumpling, everything else was great. I especially really enjoyed the steamed pork dumpling and the flat noodles with beef. The meat was really tender and juicy. The hot tea and soup was good too. The soup removed a bit of the manchow soup we get in India. While i enjoyed the asian music, it was a bit loud to my liking.

Dumpling Xuan
We had a flat noodle and Taiwanese style noodle and both were excellent.Price was reasonable.They had very clean restroom.We will visit again and try new dishes in the future with more family members.We did a street parking and it seems not too hard to find a spot nearby.

A Hidden Gem that I wish I only knew for myself. If you are looking for high quality authentic chinese food, Dumpling Xuan is for you.My boyfriend and I have tasted the best and cannot go back to other chinese restaurants nearer to us.I highly recommend the peking duck and yang chow fried rice. The duck is cooked to perfection. Perfect seasoning, tender meat that melts in your mouth, and crispy rich skin. Wrap the crunchy juicy duck with little bit of sliced leak and cucumbers and top it with the brown sauce and there you have it. You tasted heaven.You can determine how skilled the chef is by how he cooks the fried rice. As you can see from the picture, that is textbook. Each rice should be fluffy and separate, glistening but not greasy. That masterpiece is what guarantees that the rest of the menu will be cooked to perfection.I would like to keep this place for myself but I will share this recommendation/ review for the greater good.Enjoy.

Got take out once a few weeks ago but decided to try dining in. We came around 830pm on a weeknight and it wasn't crowded. The server was very friendly and courteous. We got vegetarian steamed dumplings and fried pork with leek dumplings. Both were delicious with good amount of fillings. We also got pork with bamboo shoot (very flavorful and not too salty), sautéed bok choy and green beans (cooked perfectly with a light crunch). We will definitely be back to try the other dishes!We were too hungry to take better photos!

I finally made my way over to Dumpling Xuan and it's now one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Not only are their dumplings and spicy dishes good, they make amazing niangao as well! I am always thinking about reasons to return.The pork xiao long bao are very good! Flavorful hot soup, sturdy (but not too thick) skin. Fresh ginger in the dipping sauce (though I would rather have soy sauce than vinegar). It definitely made me want to try more dumplings next time!The niangao was the star of the show. Probably one of the best I've ever had (and I order it whenever it's on the menu). I love the addition of bamboo -- it adds flavor and texture that elevates the dish. Great flavor, perfectly cooked rice cakes, tender flavorful pork, and crunchy veggies. I would come back just for this (and have).The hot and spicy fish fillet was recommended by the waitress. I honestly thought we were getting the boiled fish fillet but this was a delightful surprise. Delicious savory and spicy flavors in the seasoning, tender, crispy, and hot fish fillet...and the peppers were a nice touch as well. I loved it! I would definitely get this again.The eggplant in garlic sauce was pretty sweet and the eggplant was less tender than I like, but it was pretty good overall.The second time we went, we also tried the chive and egg pocket which was tasty, the mapo tofu which I thought was nothing too special (but we did get it vegetarian, which may be different from usual), and the dry chili chicken which was good but not my favorite iteration.Overall the niangao and hot and spicy fish fillet were super delicious and I can't wait to come back and gorge on dumplings next time. The staff are super friendly and accommodating of dietary restrictions and the restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. I will certainly be back soon.

Dumpling Xuan
The food here was nice, service was efficient and friendly, the prices were reasonable.I saw other reviews and there was a delicious looking noodle dish, but I didn't want noodle and got the ox tail soup. It was delicious, but pretty Spartan. I also ordered some Bok Choy which I promptly added to the soup.The soup dumplings" were nice
