Mel is amazing amazing amazing. I have worked with her for over 12 years as a wedding planner and recently used her to do my makeup for myself and bridal party for my wedding this year. Melanie is the most empathetic, kind and amazing person to have with you on your wedding day. Her talent is unmatched and she makes everyone feel fantastic. If there was a ten star option i would give it! She has a knack for making a person look the most beautiful version of yourself and is also a lovely human to have with you on your wedding day.

Mel was the makeup artist for our wedding and she did such a beautiful job of every single person. She was lovely to work with and very clear with her communication. She took the time to educate my mom about what makeup works best for her skin and what products she recommended which my mom loved. Couldn’t recommend Mel highly enough!

Melanie has done the makeup for my wedding and for a family photoshoot. I first met her when she fit me in at the last minute after my original wedding makeup artist was suddenly unavailable, and I really really appreciated that. She is so personable, talented and excellent at her job. I highly recommend her!

Melanie did my makeup for my wedding, and it was stunning. I don’t really wear makeup and Melanie was able to do my makeup in a way that I felt really comfortable in and beautiful. She was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding, professional, and a lovely person to spend time with on a busy day.

After being a wedding photographer for 16 years and seeing Melanie's work, which time-and-time again was natural yet bridal for every bride... I knew she would be my first choice for my own wedding. Melanie did not disappoint. I was 47 when I got married. My mom showed my wedding pic to some people and they all thought I was at least in my 30s... My look was super natural yet it enhanced my features. I looked and felt absolutely incredible and I am so grateful for the amazing work she did!PS She also did my friend's makeup (the woman in the grey dress) I'm the one in the green dress.

I booked with Mel for a make up lesson ahead of my wedding and it was the best investment ever! I’ve never been comfortable doing my own makeup, and always hated how products sat on my face. I wanted a really natural look and she walked me through it step by step, giving me product information and choices, and helped me take note of everything important. After our lesson, I was able to buy the exact products and tools I needed to recreate the look - and now I feel confident doing my makeup whenever I want! Plus, I looked absolutely fabulous on our wedding day and felt so confident! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to book either a lesson or to get their own makeup done. I will definitely be booking her in the future for photoshoots for my business! 15/10 for being an incredibly caring, gentle human and very skilled!

I met Mel in Sept 2019 when she did my make up for my best friends wedding and absolutely loved the look she did for me, it was a hot day and I danced and sweated all night and my face was still flawless! Haha I then recommended Mel for another friends wedding I was in the bridal party for in August 2021 and then of course also booked her for my own bridal make up this past June 2022. Mel is the sweetest and most genuine person. I highly recommend Mel's services for any occasion. She is so lovely to work with, has excellent product knowledge and shares tips from her years of experience. She has timely and easy communication and is my go to make up artist to recommend to family & friends. I will continue to hire Mel for all my future special occasions!

Melanie Baird is a true makeup professional, and there is noone I would have rather had on my big day! Mel did both of my sisters weddings in 2010 and 2012, and even when I got married 12 years later in 2022 I KNEW I had to have her. She is absolutely amazing at what she does, has only gotten better with time and she truly cares about making you look and feel your very best. Not to mention she is so friendly and fun to be around, a true joy to have do your makeup for any event! I would book Mel 100 times over again and am still obsessed with my wedding makeup looks and pictures and have never felt more beautiful in my life!

Mel did an amazing job on my bridal makeup as well as on my bridesmaids! She was really helpful and shared her expertise with me during the trial, and really knew her stuff. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup, I was nervous to get my face professionally done, but Mel was super sweet, calm, and capable! I would definitely recommend her! I've never looked so good, lol!
