I just bought a 1991 Toyota TownAce RHD from Mardy. Cannot be more happy with the whole process, start to finish. Mardy is the man. I am an American, who purchased the car without test driving, or seeing it in person. I was skeptical at first, but Mardy was honest about every detail. He even picked me and my friend up from the airport in my new van!!! He brought me to the CA DMV and was ready with all paperwork for import. At the border, no issues. I imported my new van for $206 with absolutely no issues. I just registered it in OR with ease. He even followed up with me to see if everything worked out. Mardy is an honest person, who is not out to make a buck. He wants people to have good cars for a good value. My van is literally immaculate as if it was new! The first drive was from Vancouver CA to Portland OR, no issues whatsoever. Wish I could give him six stars..

Pandemic was getting old, so I thought I'd shake things up by fulfilling a dream: owning a Japanese import van. After settling on the newest Delica I could legally import, I started looking around, but was dismayed to find very few options in the Seattle area, with most being quite pricey. But on recommendation of another Delica owner, I contact Mardy at Amazing Auto Imports in Richmond, BC. I was a little skeptical of forking over a good chunk of money to a man I'd never met for a vehicle I'd never seen. But Mardy is a man of integrity and wants to do right by his customers. Because I couldn't physically see and drive the vehicle before purchase, Mardy provided the video walkthrough, a full rundown of all the service he would do (everything, including timing belt, alternator, spark plugs, fluids, water pump, tires, battery, much more), and what the process of getting it over the border was like. He was always a text or call away if I wanted an update. We probably talked on the phone for 2-3 hours over the course of the process. After two weeks of servicing, he let me know it was ready for transport. Put me in contact with the customs broker that took care of all the paperwork ($250 fee plus 2.5% the cost of the vehicle and a small filing fee for DOC). Then the night before I was to pick it up, got a pic of it at the drop-off point in Blaine, WA. The next day I drove up to get it, and was happy as a boy could be. The most difficult part was registering, but after 30 minutes and the whole staff of the DOL, I got plates and registration. Mardy takes a little longer because he doesn't begin servicing the car until someone purchases, but his work is worth it. He also seems to be cheaper than the local options in Seattle. Highly recommended.

Bought a 95 Delica from Amazing Auto Imports for import to the US. First, the van is mint, inside and out and runs great. It’s has Super Exceeded my expectations. Working with Mardy was a pleasure. You just have to trust that he knows what he is doing and be PATIENT and he will get you exactly what you were looking for.The first van he found for me he did not approve of and went out to Japan to find a better one, even sent me pictures and a video from his trip. Then we had a mess because of COVID and could not come out there to bring it over the border so he found a broker and sent it over. I think from our first conversation until the van was actually in my possession was almost a year but in the end it was worth the wait. So if you are looking for an amazing import, this is your guy. I recently purchased a 2002 Delica Chamonix Spacegear L400 from Amazing Auto Imports. Mardy, is very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me lots of great tips on how to care for my Delica. I experienced a minor issue 10 days after my purchase and Mardy greatly reassured me by honouring the included warranty and had it fixed to my full satisfaction. It can be challenging to know how much you can trust someone who sells used cars and I am so glad that I found Mardy who I can count on for service and support with my Delica. I recommend his services for finding your dream Delica!

Mardy and his team are true experts with JDM Mitsubishis. There are few mechanics willing to work on these vehicles, let alone with the expertise to actually know what they are doing. With just a quick day trip from the US, Mardy had my Delica running like new. I didn’t realize just how poorly my van was running until after he tuned it up, and now I wish I had brought it here from day one!

Bought a Toyota Alphard AWD from Mardy. Experienced auto seller with good customer service. Very responsive, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Vehicle was clean, and ready to hit the road back to Yukon. Car is working great, and Mardy is helping me with getting an extra set of keys.

I commissioned Mardy to find and buy a rare car about five months ago and then placed a lot of trust in him from a long way away. Mardy delivered on his end of the deal with exactly what I wanted and on a timeline that matched the one he described. He is best communicated with via the phone and was always responsive to my calls. He has a challenging job that requires patience from the customer. If you are patient you get what you want. I would recommend AAI to my friends.

I just picked up my 1996 Toyota Hiace van, from Amazing Auto Imports, in Blaine, WA today.I was nervous about wiring money internationally, especially since I'd not driven or personally inspected the van. I saw a number of positive reviews about Mardy (owner) and thought I'd give him a call. He is quite knowledgeable and a nice change of pace from the local importers we have in the Seattle area. We discussed the van, the maintenance that had been done, the overall condition and the care and upkeep. Based on my opening line, you know that I decided to take the plunge. After seeing the van in person, the pictures and conversation with Mardy align with the van that was delivered. It has some age related wear to the exterior (not unexpected), but the interior is in nice condition and she drives like a dream. I've wanted a diesel for quite some time and this one ticks that box and a few others.On the way home from picking it up I was sitting in traffic. The van got a couple of positive comments and some thumbs up. There were also a lot of puzzled drivers trying to figure out what they were driving next to!In summary, Mardy was easy to work with, helpful and competitive in his pricing. Having studied these vans extensively for about two months, I think I got a pretty darn good deal. I've only given 4 stars, as I'd like to see how the van performs over the first few months of ownership. If its trouble free, I'd definitely consider 5 stars. We just picked up a sweet '94 Delica Super Exceed w/ Crystal from Mardyand couldn't have been more pleased with our experience with him.From start to finish, he did a great job of communicating with us and keeping us posted on the updates to the full-service-maintenance it went through.We are from the US, Utah to be exact. We flew out there and Mardy picked us up from our Hotel the next morning in the van we were going to buy, nice touch.He had all the paperwork ready for us to import and gave us pointers on which crossing to use, best practices on driving it and then we went to lunch with him before heading out.He did one final inspection and found one minor thing that needed to be fixed before we left. He got out his tools and fixed it in no time. He had our money, he could have easily let it slide and we would have had no idea until later.Crossing the border was easy and painless thanks to Mardy's preparation. We drove it back to Utah and stuck to the advice he gave us and we made it back with 0 problems.There were some minor things that came up after (nothing mechanical) but guess what, it's a 25 yr old vehicle, it is going to happen. Mardy has been very helpful in helping me diagnose and fix these minor issues.It can be scary to put trust in someone you don't know (especially a used car salesman, haha) because of the reviews here and on delica.ca, we decided to operate under the assumption that he had our best interest in mind and we feel he delivered! We have been really happy with our purchase and wouldn't hesitate to get another one from him.Thanks Mardy!

Bought a 2006 Delica from Marty and the experience was great. Got me exactly what I wanted. Best way to communicate with him is over phone. Very knowledgeable and the car was in mint condition. Very accommodating. I have had the car over 6 months and no issues so far.
