I dealt with Adam. He was quick to respond to my internet query and pleasant to deal with by phone. My job was a small one that was completed towards the end of the business day. Without a prompt from me, he offered to wait after closing time for me to travel the 25 minutes to pick up the job. Can't beat that for service! Thanks Adam.

Super efficient, very knowledgeable staff who helped me figure out why I needed a particular sort of steel (I knew nothing!). So impressed that I could get something locally that was better and also less expensive than I was able to find online and would have had to order from outside NS (thus incurring shipping fees as well).

I’ve come here a few times now and they have not let me down. Great pricing and a large stock of sizes and types of steel. Friendly staff and best part is if you can’t make in during the week they are open on Saturday.

Great prices and fast turn around getting materials ready. They have a wide range of materials in stock and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Take advantage of their CNC plasma table to significantly reduce time wasted cutting material. Highly recommend getting your steel from Metal Supermarkets Halifax.

I requested a quote for material from the Dartmouth store before opening and then proceeded to get quotes using the online store. There is a disclaimer that the prices on the online store are different then store locations. I found the online store price quotes expensive. But at 8:07 I received an email from the Dartmouth store for my materials with more than reasonable prices.I recommend people call or message the Dartmouth store for pricing.And my material was rdy for pickup within half an hour!
