I have a lot of respect and trust for the gang at Hub Tune up, they were recommended by a friend and I won’t go anywhere else! They’ve worked on all four of our vehicles, from a BMW coupe that needed a total engine replacement under warranty, to our Toyota Truck, to our Travel Trailer! When the Ford dealer cancelled my repair appointment on me unexpectedly, I called Hub Auto and they fit me in the same day. That was awesome. But the big surprise was the final cast was less than a 1/3 of what the dealership was going to charge me for the exact same work. Keep up the great work guys. Great experience start to finish. Had a vehicle I needed some work on before selling - set budget hoping I didn't have to junk the car. They had it fixed and running for a very affordable price in a few hours. If you request Charles to do your work you won't be disappointed. Thanks again guys

I had a great and worst situation.The great situation my car was not working so I towed to the garage and they fixed without any appointment.The worst situation I travels back to Halifax and when I arrived I found out the forget to put the cape of the radiator fluid on so I lost my engine.

I brought my vehicle here after getting a better quote on repairs required for inspection. I had a pre-inspection done at another garage. When Hub Tune Up went to do the repairs, they called me and said they didn’t agree with the list the other garage gave me, saying over half of the things the previous garage stated it needed - didn’t really need to be done. I was completely shocked. They saved me a lot of money and were completely honest and didn’t feel right doing repairs that weren’t needed. I took my car back for an oil change recently and was very impressed with how quickly they were able to do it, while I waited.They are very friendly, honest, fair priced and efficient. Definitely recommend!

Had a blow out of my heater hose on the Cobequid pass today. They were willing to take me on a busy Friday afternoon after my van was towed. The part arrived before the van. They charged me for 0.75 h labour and had me back on the road home for the weekend. Thanks for the great service!

Exceptional service! I went in with a car I didn't think I'd ever see run again and in a few hours time they had the car running again. The prices were extremely fair and the customer service was above and beyond, I heard someone come in asking about body work and they gave them options for who they knew and the guys they knew that gave good prices. They're no frills and only do what needs to be done, they will not rip you off. Couldn't recommend these guys enough particularly for import cars. Overall I'm so grateful for their work and will be going here for all my future car needs when I'm in Truro!

Hub tune up was great and easy to deal with . My car went in for breaks and a sway bar , they got me in quick , when they found another issue with my breaks they called and ran it by me before going ahead ( much appreciated ). When finishing up and paying I was given a little Christmas gift for a appreciation . Will be back and will 100% recommend to friends and family . Thank you !

Have been going to Hub for a few years now for both my vehicles. Great service, friendly staff. They get the job done on a timely basis and at a reasonable cost. Keep up the great work!

DON'TI'm from out of town. I took a used vehicle I was looking to purchase to HUB for inspection. They quoted me $XXX in repairs. I then agreed a price with the seller, put a downpayment on the car and left it with HUB. They then did a bunch of extra work on the vehicle without ever asking for my OK. Things they said were marginal in the original quote were replaced. They forgot to check a check-engine light in the original inspection, then quoted me $150 for a part that's $50 on amazon. The final cost was more than DOUBLE the original quote. I'm pretty sure it still needs brake work and to top it off, when I got it home I discovered they never even updated the vehicle inspection sticker.
