One of the few places you can attend French class as a Canadian (as opposed to other courses that are immigrant-only).Everything seems a bit disorganised (you can get basic info by email but actually registering is confusing; they demand that you make an appointment but it's just a line-up with no specific time, you might miss a class or two before they register you). The quality of the teachers varies hugely. But can't complain much because it's so cheap (iirc it was $50 last year and $60 this year).

So far my French level 1 course with Madam Yannick has been excellent and fun. The staff are usually busy but they will help out as much as they can. As for some of the complains by the students - you’re getting paid to study French and live in one of the best country in the world. Stop complaining!!! Alons-y

They care about you! Very friendly staff and caring and active teachers. You gonna enjoy learning French and making new friends. Very well equipped and clean classes. They even offer free services like filling your french application, helping you with preparing french CV, etc. Highly recommended..

worst place ever!!! They made us pay the tuition fee for both summer and fall sessions, and told us they will refund us if we don't register for fall session. I didn't attend the fall session and they didn't refund me!!!!! why??!!! Is this a kind of a scam?!!! I'm very disappointed in you!

Do not take this French course. Not worth it. Disorganized administration, classroom in the cafeteria, delay in receiving the letter to apply for the transportation card. It takes months to receive the refund from MIFI, because they take a long time to send the students' reports there and the teachers are mostly from other countries teaching French. I don't like studying here, looking for another school.

I don’t know about their teaching methods, but my inscription day wasn’t very well. I went there at 10 am, and it took 4 hours to finish the test, have the results and registering for the class. A worker with whom I had to talk about my results told me,’ the problem in Montreal is having a lot of languages, ’ referring to the immigrants. Also, I felt judged by her comments. If somebody goes there to learn better, there is no need to criticize people of their French level or capability of speaking it. **If you could go to another Center, try it, don’t waste your time there.
