I'm not buddhist and do not attend this temple,but I was driving by on my bike one day and noticed the beauty of this place and the property. It was quiet, and I walked into the grounds and was taking a look and just admiring the beauty (outside). A few men came out of the building so I started to walk away, worried they might be upset. It was the total opposite. They told me to come back and were so welcoming and even encouraged me to have a look around and to come inside if I wanted to. Thank you so much for your kindness and for showing me that not only is the space beautiful, but the people there have beautiful hearts too.

I cannot find the correct words to describe such a place but my experience was a surreal one from the moment I stood outside the temple to when I walked inside of it. You have to experience it for yourself.

Been a visitor and volunteer at this temple since I was a kid. Love seeing residents from all over the area visiting during festivals and special events. All are welcome but for those looking to visit during quieter times just call ahead to find out the best times including meditation programs. Photos are from the most recent Vesak Celebrations on May 13th & 14th 2017.

Buddhism isn't even a religion, its a philosophy going along with Atheistic views. So not sure why it's defined as 'religious'; But.. I love this place! Nice views all around. Friendly monks all around. In the back there's a nice lake with a Buddha statue in meditating pose, from the front it's the freeway so pretty easy to find. And they also keep upgrading the location as well. So overall, it's an amazing temple!
