Irresponsible, Lies and does not take accountability for his mistakes.1. After Oil/Filter change service he left the Air filter box open, Luckily very next day it came to my notice. When I called him to notify so that he doesn't do the same mistake with other vehicles. He bluntly lied that he checked everything and it was not open. When I pushed then he agreed and said oh I am a human and I make mistakes. Also he tried blaming on his trainee whom he said just fired.2. He charged me $121 to reprogram tail gate of my Nissan Pathfinder and after that both the buttons stopped working. After calling him multiple times he gave me an appointment. When I reached he said I have so many cars to take care and I can drop my car but without any assurance on time. Worst customer service on top of that he doesn't take accountability for his mistakes. I lost my trust and politely walked out, I dont want him to damage anything else in my car. This was the first and last visit. I wouldn't recommend anyone to waste your time and money, also avoid unnecessary damages to your vehicles.

I had an amazing experience at Ami-Go! Luis took great care of my vehicles, completed his repairs in a reasonable time, and for a reasonable price. Can't recommend his shop enough!

I stopped by Ami-go Automotive as I thought my brakes were failing. My car was pulling to the left every time I braked. It turned out that my wheel alignment was off. Luis also noted that my front pads were in need of replacement. I asked if I should have all pads replaced and he ensured me that just the front needed replacing. He replaced my brake pads in the front and completed the wheel alignment. Very friendly guy.

Ami-go Automotive is by far one of the finest mechanic shops I have been to in over 30 years for my BMW. Their service, work, and ethics are unmatched. I have recommended them to anyone who needs car work, and will continue to do so in the future. All of that being said, they are a small shop that you should definitely call ahead and speak to Luis about your issue and then to book an appointment. From the very first time with speaking to Luis about my problem he was very patient and informative and never tried to rush me off the phone even though he was very busy. Luis will take the time to happily explain everything that needs to be done, and will stand by his work. In my opinion, he is well worth the price.

Luis, Mike, and team got the 370k km 1uz engine on my (relatively new to me) 1997 Lexus LS 400 running like a low mileage example. I originally brought it in for a horrible oil leak - while diagnosing the leak they found and addressed a misaligned timing belt before it cost me the engine. To fix the oil leaks they replaced 26 year old seals, water pump, and found found an internal crack in my oil pump from years of neglected maintenance.Thanks guys for putting in the work to keep an old v8 running and letting me keep a japanese classic on the road

Luis at Ami-go is probably the most honest mechanic I have ever met. I came in with my 2006 Honda Civic thinking I needed a new motor (which I was told from another mechanic). In the end it was a simple issue that he fixed in 30 minutes and cost me less than $200. I cannot thank you enough! Trustworthy mechanics are hard to come by and Luis is salt of the earth.
