Royal Overhead Doors LTD

for past 17 years we've had a royal overhead garage door, free of problems all those years. Last week the cables and spring broke on the garage door. I decided that i would contact door manufacturer which was royal overhead garage doors in Concord, to get quote on new door and if possible just repaired. Well I got a quote on both and went with the repair, as I think i can still get a few years out of garage door as rust is minimal. They were very prompt to send a great repair guy named Paul within a few days. He did a great job and I was so impressed with such great customer service ... 5 stars for royal overhead garage doors. Royal Overhead doors helped us choose the garage doors that we wanted for our house. They are easy to work with and have great customer service. Even through delays of the pandemic everything went well. Their painter even contacted us prior to installation to make sure that we were happy with the final product. The installers were nice to talk to and did a quality job of installing. We couldn’t be happier with the service that Royal Overhead Doors provides for us. It has been a long time since we have received good quality service from a company, as a contractor myself it is nice to see that they really care about their customers.Brodie S

I'm so disappointed in Royal overheaddoors they said it would take two weeks for the door in the shop. We got the door 6 Weeks later with the wrong windows. And it took another 5 weeks of constantly phoning them and getting the RUNAROUND and passing the buck. Twice they called to say they're going to come and change the windows with no calls and no one showed up.REALLY  No control over the supply chain issues happening worldwide". The door sat in the shop at least 3 weeks that we know of. After calling multiple times and weeks they sent the door with the wrong windows."

I am very satisfied the fiberglass that Lui had sold me. It looks beautiful and Jazz was very professional while working.

Very unpleasant experience with the Credit manager at the company.I had my garage door replaced by this company couple of years ago. Recently, one of the cables felt off the reel and the doors were nonfunctional.Called the company to explain the issue with the door and was asked to take pictures of the cable and send them over.Soon after I received a call back and the gentlemen explained it is hard to determine the issue looking at the pictures only. He suggested to send a technician. If the cable was only detached - it would be considered as a service call and if needed to be replaced - there would be charge for it.I agreed and the appointment was made.I took a day off from work to be with the technician who never showed up nor call to explain why.Several days later I got a call from the receptionist who re-scheduled the appointment.This time the technician showed up, re-attached the cable in 5 minutes and said there is no charge for it. He was very professional, polite and left with a tip.To my surprise I got an invoice for $150 plus HST.When I tried to dispute the bill I was told I only spoke twice with a lady receptionist but never with a man and I was never told that there is no charge for it. Needless to say I felt like I was played.Mike - Credit Manager at the company even threatened he will place my account to a collection agency and damage my credit.Wanted to warn others about this company bullying practice.I am sure there are other excellent garage door companies around.

Installed one garage door opener correctly, but not the second. Every time the power goes out, the second garage opener needs to be reset. Customer Support/Owner fails to acknowledge faulty installation despite the door arm being totally different positions on both doors.

Visited friends house and saw the poor install and story of no proper support months ago despite it being a new house.Reading the poor customer experiences here and the arrogant and unprofessional response, we will be staying away from this company.

Went there to buy a keypad for my garage, A guy named Rod was very polite and helpful. I had a very pleasant experience in this company.

Terrible experience with this company. What was understood to be a warranty issue became a phone call to collect $300 plus tax from the credit manager. After some discussion, along with speaking to a representative at Wayne dalton doors, royal overhead door should of installed the U bar struts AND they did not. Garage door opener bracket ripped off the garage door. The installer came to look at the issue and asked me where is the steel bracket. After I said there is no bracket, he installed the U Bar in 10 minutes and left. I asked him is there anything for me to sign that this warranty is completed and he said no, it’s covered. Royal overhead door had NO signature on any paperwork, and I have emails with pictures and writing proving that they are servicing a manufacturing warranty issue. I then get a phone call for service rendered with fake invoices and a claim to small claims court. Disgusting behaviour. Stay far away from this company.Owner just responded… all I can say is WOW, emails don’t lie sir.
