Excellent school for your flight training needs, I was part of the ATPL program, Bassima & Mohammad known as “chief” are one of the most humble and caring individuals who take care of their students needs individually, in this school you feel like family, you learn the art of patience & respect.I highly recommend this school apart from other schools in CYHU since I personally have friends who are not happy around other schools in CYHU and moved to my school due to lack of care, customer service and greed for your money.I am proud to have completely my Professional Pilot journey with Saint Hubert Flying School, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to pursue the same professionally or as pleasure.

The best around! Saint Hubert Flying School is a great place to get your wings. You're taken care of from the start til the end. The chief flight instructor is a very nice man who will help you get where you want to be. If i had to choose all over again, i would go back with my eyes closed. Great opportunity for those wanting to get their instructor rating and work as an instructor.

I came to this school with little to no knowledge about aviation and left with more knowledge and wisdom one could ask for. A great thanks to the Chief and Bassima for everything they showed me, for everything they taught me and for all the great experiences. I’m proud to say that I have finished my atp integrated program at this wonderful school and to whoever is reading this, don’t think twice. In aviation there are ups and downs, in the end the only thing that matters is to never give up and chase your dream. It was far from easy, but it’s very manageable with the right guidance and proper mentors.

I’m going to summarize my experience for those who are looking for flying school. In flying rule number one is safety and the safety level at this school is like no other for the whole duration of me being with the school I’ve never seen an accident. Also no structural damage to an aircraft or an issue is being ignored every single thing is getting the attention it needs. It’s the only school were you get to meet talk and fly with the chief pilot of the school, the chief pilot is the highest ranking individual at the school. every morning you will see the chief pilot himself taking a look at every aircraft to make sure of its oil level and such things and then the instructors will do the same again before flight and the student flying is obligated to do the full Walk around pre flight. The staff of the school is fantastic I’m an international student and every paper I needed for immigration it was provided by them as fast as they could. Very friendly, patient and tolerant for my mistakes when I was starting up as new student. They showed me the right way to do the right thing. Aircraft maintenance is constantly done for example I’ve done +200 hours and not a single flight was canceled for a late maintenance. Finally when I left my family and home to study and fly I was nervous for the new experience but they definitely made it easy for me to adjust and adapt, Sadly now after the great moments of graduation it feels the same all over again, leaving family and home for a new experience but they have prepared me well for the coming challenges. Thanks a lot for making me the best I can be.

Wonderful and unforgettable experience!The best decision of my life was definitely entering inside this building summer 2017.Since I’m a kid I wanted to be a pilot and I am today because of them.I was only 18 when I started and I was a foreign student from France, 6000km from everyone I knew. They took care of me, they taught me everything and made me feel home. Bassima and Mohamed are friendly and generous people who are always trying to make your experience better. They took care of my immigration paper, they made me finish on time when I had my exams booked for the following week, all the time in a super professional way. They are by the book and strict with their rules, and it’s like that that we are feeling safe as students.The maintenance is always taking care of, it’s really something that counted for me. Safety first. If there’s too much wind, you’ll see some schools let their students go, not us. Because the Chief Instructor is always about safety first and you feel safe with these kind of rules. He will teach you how to fly like a professional pilot, safely and aware of what’s happening inside and outside of your plane.The ground school with Martin Papenek , what can I say beside the fact that this teacher made me love aviation and challenged me like no one did. He made me love subjects that I never thought I would. He even made me learn English. He was an amazing teacher and an inspiration for me day by day, and still is. So much knowledge and experience that you can ask literally any question, he will find the answer.The ATPL integrated program was intense and you have to be ready. A lot of informations and knowledge are important during the course, but step by step, PPL, Night Rating, CPL, Multi Engine Rating, IFR Rating, MCC on 737NG, SARON and SAMRA exams, you’re learning everything you need to know to be the best pilot anywhere in the world.I will really miss this school, because it was a big part of my life, as a pilot, as a student, as a man.Thanks for everything you’ve done for me, I won’t never forget. If I could put 6 stars I would.P.S.: For the story, I loved so much the school that I made my brother start the same training as me and he loved it too!

I’m so happy I found SHFS. I recently completed my CPL there. Mr Hamdi (the CFI) and Bassima went above and beyond to make my training affordable and efficient. The school focuses on safety, their fleet is well maintained. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and organised at the same time.It made me look forward to my training even more.My instructor Hedy was the best, extremely knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher.I’m looking forward to competing my instructor rating with them.If you want to just be able to focus on your training, meet great people and have positive experiences I highly recommend SHFS.I wish I found them from the beginning!

I really enjoyed my time at SHFS. It is a great learning environment, with a diverse student body and very knowledgeable instructors and dispatch, the Chief instructor is a true legend. You do get pushed out of your comfort zone, and you will have to make an effort to learn, however prime emphasis is definitely on safety and procedures as the Chief and dispatch actually care about you and your success. I managed to finish a PPL in around 4 to 5 months summer of 2019. This is probably one of the best flight schools in the Montreal region.

I did my training at Saint Hubert Flying School and had a fantastic experience. The instructors were professional and experienced, and always made themselves available to answer my questions and give me guidance. The facilities were modern and well-equipped, and the planes were in excellent condition. I felt fully prepared for my final exams and solo flights thanks to the thorough and comprehensive training I received. Thanks to my ground flight instructor Martin Papanek was exceptional. Not only did he possess a wealth of knowledge and experience, but he also had a unique ability to explain complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand. He always took the time to ensure that I fully understood the material before moving on to the next topic. Additionally, he helped me improve my English language skills and I was able to communicate more effectively during my flight training .I would highly recommend Saint Hubert Flying School to anyone looking to learn to fly. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help. It was a great experience!Thanks to Chief Mohammed , and Student Director Bassima for helping me to achieve my dreams .

This place is more than a school, and you will learn more than what you need to be a professional pilot. You will grow as a person, surrounded by people that care about your safety and consider you family, who will do everything they can to protect you but also to help you succeed. You will learn one of the most important lessons you can learn in aviation: that flying is first and foremost about the love of those around you.If one day my children wish to become aviators, this is where I will send them.
