There are a quite a few entitled trolls leaving poor reviews, some people need to get a life. Some customers want everything handed to them on a silver platter.I have been picking up my medication as well as purchasing products from this location for the last fifteen years and have never had a poor experience. The staff in the pharmacy are some of the kindest people I have had the pleasure to deal with.Never have they messed of on any of my medications.Very seldom have I had to wait a long time, I think 15 mins tops at most.Shoppers staff don't listen to the trolls, they have no lives.

Pharmacy kept charging and delivering medication a month after it was cancelled, despite a dozen calls and paperwork. This is both a monetary mistake as well as a safety concern. Apparently it was a system glitch and is being resolved. This isn’t a negative review on the people, but at least the glitch.

Today, February 4th, 2023, I went into the Center Mall Hamilton location to purchase $60 + of over the counter meds , a magazine, and lotto tickets.I waited in a short lineup, with people behind me, to pay for my stuff. I was using my debit card.Apparently, they no longer accept debit cards at the human operated check out. I must use the self checkout, the young person at the cash did offer to show me how and do the scanning for me. I know how to use the damn machines, I just don't want to!So since I had to pickup a couple of things at the Metro I said No Thanks! I get it at metro".Went to metro and saved $4 on one item and $3 on another.So thanks Shoppers for helping me save some cash by shopping elsewhere.It's also quite galling to hear the machine ask for your opinion " let us know how we did today?" When then they did sweet f a to help you."

The old white tall male pharmacist stole my medicine and robbed me any chance of relief from my slipped disk, picking up the phone and changing my prescription as if he knows more about me then my doctor of 12 yearsconveniently paying the grand total for only 6 tablets then my original 20 I was owed.Will be filing a complaint with OCP when I get this pharmacists name.

Dirty. Bug crawling across pharmacy counter. Woman administering vaccine (Q Kashif) blew her nose in kleenex, held onto the kleenex and was touching everything. Unhygienic, unprofessional. Will find another pharmacy.Unfortunate as the staff are very helpful, friendly and professional as are the team behind the pharmacy counter.

If I could give a more negative score than 0, I would. Awful service. My mom, who is dying of cancer always has issues picking up her prescriptions here. The staff behind the counter don't resolve anything or act like they care at all. They say prescriptions are ready and then days later they can't find the prescription or the fax from the doctor. Always blaming the doctors office. Absolutely terrible and shameful to treat people who are obviously in need of care and medicine like that. I have been waiting to pick up prescriptions for my mom and have heard countless others being treated the same way. Shoppers Drug Mart should be ashamed to have this as one of their locations. my boyfriend made the mistake of bringing his prescription here, the pharmacy team was made up of two students and and incompetent older white tall pharmacist with white hair, he took 1 hour to get ahold of the doctor and after doing so changed my boyfriends prescription from 20 Percocet's to only 6 telling him it would last a week, which by the doctors orders (take 2 a day as needed) would have never lasted a week. even after clearly being in obvious excruciating pain the pharmacy of 3 staff took 1 hour long and sabotaged my boyfriends prescription.

I am not one to write a review. This is the 3rd time I use the shipping services and the lady working at the Canada post office is extremely condescending to me. She barely looks at me in the eyes. She was reluctant to cut a piece of tape to secure my package and stated she’s not supposed ans she acted like she was doing me the biggest favour. She couldn’t even say bye to me like she does other customers. She didn’t even need to process my shipments as I paid for them and did customs form prior all at home. She made me feel so bad about not having one box taped that I felt pressured to buy tape on the spot.I don’t know what I’ve done to her other than my mere existence. She’s also talking to other customers about how she’s working overtime. I understand we are are human and it’s the holidays, but please don’t take out your frustrations on a customer you don’t know. This is a great neighborhood with nice people working in grocery stores, local restaurants, etc.I couldn’t find the manager but I told the manager at the makeup department.I am also genuinely worried my one package will arrive damage due to her reluctance to to tape it togetherWhat a horrible experience.these are gifts to my niece in the USA. Please be kind and treat us like humans. I rather go elsewhere where I’m treated with respect.

Been using the pharmacy and this store for over 15 years. I'm disappointed to see so many negative reviews.A few of the pharmacy staff can seem a bit gruff, but every time I’ve needed help to solve an Rx problem (in person or by phone) I have always gotten excellent service and support. David the (Irish) pharmacist and Olivera are great with really nice demeanors. The new pharmacist owner (Annie) was super helpful when I had to find a cold medicine that would work with my daily meds. The younger pharmacy staff in particular deserve special praise for their customer service too, especially Denise and Connor. It’s nice as a regular, to be recognized and called by name.The store itself is clean, well stocked, organized and run with efficiency. The customer service and check out staff are also top shelf. Special kudos to Christine's friendliness and Catherine (with the extra curly hair) at the cosmetics desk, who always has a warm greeting for customers.Wendy who runs the Post Office kiosk is truly an asset to Shoppers and Canada Post. I have sold online in the past, and so I would ship at this location frequently. She has always been friendly, super helpful and patient with myself and any others who arrive with multiple items to verify, stamp and ship out.Will continue to patronize and would recommend to neighbours.

Mixed review because I have not had any issues outside of the Pharmacy. The lady with the white hair at the Pharmacy should not be a customer facing associate. She's downright rude and has no CS skills. When you walk up to the counter for pickup, she looks beyond angry just because she has to talk to someone. She talks down to you and treats you like you're stupid. People need medication for their day to day lives. In some cases its an emergency. Try being a bit more empathetic in your interactions with guests.In general, I never get my emails or notifications that it's ready for pickup until I've already gone to pickup my meds. I always have to be the one to call and check if it's ready. I've been shorted my medication on multiple times.Take into consideration that they're building a 13 story condo right next door to this location. If you're having issues now, they're only going to get worse. Perhaps this location should work on getting better at planning or getting better organized for the future?If I keep facing issues, I have no problem with switching to a pharmacy further away from my home.The girls at the front cash and the cosmetics counter lady are always lovely to deal with.
