Amazing crew. Fast, efficient,and very polite. A company which does not have any hidden charges, you pay what you were quoted. No extra fuel cost, or stair cost, or extra boxes cost, or fuel costs.They went over and above accommodating the times we needed. Everyone should use this company.

I had called Altawana for a large equipment move. They were the only company in town that would move this as other companies didn’t want the liability.They were outstanding and took their time and ensured my machine was moved safely. This equipment was about 600lbs and had to be moved into my house and then down 2 flights of stairs!This was not an easy move by any means and I am thrilled that they took on the job and did it well.Thanks again for your help!Gas City Creative Design & Event Inc.

I hired Altawana Express for my recent move within Medicine Hat. While their hourly rate is slightly cheaper than other moving companies in town, they are most definitely NOT a better value. Overall the move took almost double the time as my last move (with the same amount of stuff and a shorter distance). You are way better off going with Railside or Five Star. Also, neither of the movers showed up with masks. I didn't make a big deal of it, but considering most other businesses in town are doing their part during the pandemic, I expected better.

I needed a large appliance delivered on short notice. The pleasant office person was not only able to squeeze me in the same day, but moving staff Josh and Sean were friendly, respectful and efficient! Reasonable price on top of that. Gold star service!

Great company! We had to fire our other movers and these guys moved us with no stress and made our experience so much better. They showed up to work early, the guys run when they are not carrying boxes, they take very few breaks. They wrap all the furniture and take very good care of your belongings.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.They used every trick in the book and took advantage of my 80 year old mother. So much to mention...1. No contract was presented before or during the move. It wasn't produced until they arrived at the destination AFTER we called to complain.2. They did not view the goods to be moved. They quoted a price based on the average load of a 2 bedroom apartment." My mom DID NOT have a lot of stuff at all. She called SEVERAL times to confirm this price and was assured this was the price. My mom asked for tv boxes and was assured they would bring those along. They did not.3. Once they arrived (late)

Altawana Express , Medicine Hat, moved use from a southside apartment to another on the north side of the river. Jan in the office was most helpful even though I had to ask a lot of questions , because we did all our own packing,. I had to cancel once because our renovations took a long time. She was always pleasant and helpful. We hired a truck and three men. They were tactful, hard working and helpful to us. On time and worked hard all day, a long day, as we had a lot of material to move. Price was fair and I have no problem recommending them as movers. Regards

My experience with this company was overwhelmingly negative. They literally took twice as long to move less stuff than the last time I moved. They damaged high-end mid-century modern pieces. They did not use adequate masking. They were extremely unprofessional when I tried to work the situation out. However, they did come down in their price but certainly not enough, especially considering the bill was double then the last time I moved. I would not recommend using their services

I have used Altawana Express twice and both experiences were amazing.The first time they moved all of my belongings from my house to a condo. Everything went seemless. I have several antiques that were treated with care, and beds that needed to be disassembled and reassembled which they took care of. The crew was polite, professional and accommodating. This was the first time I had ever used a moving company and it was worth more than than the cost both physically and mentally.The second time I was in a bind and time was running out. The owner and crew came to my rescue! They completed the move efficiently, and respectfully.Couldn't ask for more.

Wow, is all I can say…from Booking them to the actual move they were wonderful…the 3 young men showed up on time, and moved everything in no time, including an old upright piano. I asked what I could do to help and they said ‘nothing’. They were professional, friendly and courteous! Strongly recommend them as movers and will use them again when I need to. AND ended up paying less than I was quoted…
