The town itself is amazing. Friendly and genuine. This year 2019 they do not allow bbq or picnicking near the pier. Make sure if you have a fishing license PLEASE take it as MNR's presence is strong and will write up violations.

Where I was located the available sandy part of the beach had limited space for visitors, but that being said if you are to get a spot it is really lovely. There are some stairs down to the beach and they are well maintained. The water is very beautiful.

We were incredibly happy to discover this beach! Clean, easy to access, sandy, and not too busy. It's pretty rocky at first when you enter the water, so water shoes are advised. Also, the waves can be pretty big so parents are encouraged to stay within arms reach of their kids.

Nice beach by the pier but small area. We preferred Pioneer Park where you can watch the sunset at the top of the ridge or down some well designed stairs to the beach. The beach was sandy with some pebbles when you first get into the water. After sunset, it is a short walk to a quaint village of stores which has at least 2 ice cream stores. Sometimes musicians will spontaneously play music on the park at sunset.

Beach is quiet and serene. Not crowded. But don't forget to wear sandals.. the pebbles are too small, which may hurt your toes for quite a few days.

Great stone-covered beach with wood around for bonfires and beautiful blue water. Always boats out due to the marina next door and occasionally parades and races. Not sure if it was just because we had dogs but be prepared for cottage residents to tell you their property extends to the waterline and that they'll be keeping their dogs off leash.

Such a beautiful beach! Got to see the piece of marine salvage in the water. Such interesting history I was unaware of. Sand is warm through your toes, the Marina is close by. Great day out can't wait until the water warms up!

A small beach with not much crowd. The beach has lots of pebbles and tiny stones so do bring a pair of water shoes if you want to go in the water. Water is clean. Really nice restaurants and pubs nearby.

Small beach, clear water, easy to access, there’s a small trail up to the stairs and the park, go around the subdivision, back to beach access. You should bring water shoes, it kinds of hurt on bared foot. The public washroom is super clean and well maintained. This is my second time, will come back :)
