The Skate Zone

This is the ONLY place I get my skates sharpened. They are great people and do a great job! Equipment cleaning is a great price too! The best place to go hands down! If you want your skates done right...you want to go here and only here! Don't let the pretenders sharpen your skates and end up regretting it the second you hit the ice. Get in the Zone!

First rate place. Sheldon is the consummate professional. He is personable, reliable and knowledgeable. Had an issue with a blade and holder and had to get it fixed right away because my son was in a tournament. Sheldon solved the problem on the spot and saved us replacing the holder.

Needed new skates or repair old skates, playing 1xweek for about 9 years on them. Didn’t know a lot about new models or what I should do as my old skates fit like a glove. From the call beforehand to going in and getting a very reasonably priced top end pair of used skates, the guy was awesome (sorry can’t remember name) He let me try a couple pairs on the synthetic ice. Baked them at home went for first game and it worked out great. No real break in even needed, fit was excellent.Thanks.Highly recommended.

Absolutely THE BEST when it comes to skate sharpening and service! I travel from an hour away (Muskoka) to get our skates sharpened. I have turned down complimentary skate sharpening services by others just to go to Skate Zone and pay for services out of pocket. The work is always consistent and they have fixed issues caused by other sharpening services. When I have had to have a new set of steel profiled for my son’s skate they dialled it in perfectly! You won’t be disappointed.

Skate Zone is the only place to go. The best sharpening you will ever get.Lots of places like National and Canadian Tire can sharpen your skates but they hack the blade. Skate Zone is a sharpening you can truly rely on for a consistent sharpening time and time again.My 3 children only get their skates sharpened here. There is no place to go otherwise in their minds. Sheldon has always been friendly and interested in their progress through hockey.Keep in mind, Skate Zone provides other services as well. If it has to do with skates, they do it.If you haven't given them a try, do it and you will truly be happy you did.

Very friendly and helpful. Replaced my daughters broken blade on the first day of a tournament with a hard to find older runner. Saved my daughters tourney and her favorite skates.

Skate Zone provides the best and most consistent skate sharpening I've ever had. Come to think of it.. my edges actually seems to hold up longer than when they get done elsewhere.The only time I ever go anywhere else is if I've stupidly procrastinated and end up in a pinch on a Sunday when they are closed.The staff is great, and really knowledgable.

Great sharpening to go along with the friendly service... nice work. When you're there, you might also meet the biggest, most chilled-out dog ever.
