A red tag showed a reduced price of $1.99 for a case of tofu. However, was charged $2.49 when checked out. Only 50 cents difference, so I let it go. A few weeks later, saw a red tag again of $1.99 for tofu. This time I was careful and picked up one case right in front of the red tag. However I was charged $2.99. Questioned cashier. She went there herself and teared off the red tag and claimed the red tag shouldn't be there. Is it a managerial mistake or deceiving?

Store is quite small and they constantly run out of their weekly flagship meat products. If you need something quickly and it isn't a flagship flyer product I would recommend going here, otherwise head to the other Food basics store in the area which is much larger and is better stocked.

Price match is what people would want in this tough time when every single penny matters. One just can't travel for 1 item to Walmart or other store because Food Basic don't do price match. Hope some one will take action.

The rice selection here is phenomenal. Especially the Basmati rice and the clementines are really good here.No complaints . The merchandising is also very clean and stocked exceptionally well.

It was good place to buy grocery. Having very good variety of asian food as well. Location is well maintained and cleaned.recommended for visit.

Wow. It's crazy packed today. Been waiting in line for about 15 minutes. Only 2 cashiers. Crazy. Avoid it now come before closing, maybe not so busy then

One of the worst places to shop at. Almost 90 % of the time barcodes dont match up to the inventory and what the flyers deals are. Staff seems to be oblivious to this situation. Always a hassle when cashing out. Items on shelves will have a promotion or deal and yet when cashing out you seeing nothing matching up. Cant blame staff only! ...management should be properly watching inventory when being shelved and monitoring their pricing for consumers expenses. Can't remember how many times this issue has happened to me , now imagine all the folks shopping there. Im sorry last time I'll go here. Sad because its my local grocery store. I hope management changes these things for their own good.
