They didn't send my son's birth certificate until AFTER I called waiting for almost 6 weeks. When I called I was told it was in another bin. I finally get it and my wife's maiden name was spelled wrong and my middle name was also spelled wrong. How can I get my son his passport if this is incorrect?

applied for birth certificate replacement for my wife gail heine april 15 it is august 22 now still not received we have phoned two to three times aweek their answer should have been sent out we are looking into it NOTa good answer for 4months this seems like fraud this is unbeleivable

They messed up and didn't send my daughters birth certificate, I called and they said another one, my daughter is 3 months old and still no certificate. Also, I can never get through to talk to an agent because their lines are busy. Have you heard of call waiting?? Typical government inefficiencies.

Waiting 2.5 months for baby's birth certificate so we can get a passport. Have had cancel travel plans because of their incompetence. No one EVER answers the phone or calls back. I have called every day for 2 weeks. This a huge disservice to Canadians.

NEEDED TO OBTAIN A COPY MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. LIVING ABROAD, IT SURE WOULD BE USEFUL IF THE AGENCY POSTED THEIR WORKING HOURS AT THEIR WEBSITE. I MEAN, THEY ARE A GOVERNMENT AGENCY?

Extremely slow and inefficient. My daughter has name changed application. They claimed 8 weeks will complete the process, but when we called them after 8 weeks, they said another 8 weeks. My daughter can't apply for passport because of this. She won't be able to attend her grandfather's funeral.

Paid $66 to have duplicate birth certificates couriered to us urgently. We live 3.5 kms from the office where they were printed. They used Canada Post Priority instead, and the scheduled delivery time is in five days!! They should offer a pickup service! I could have picked them up in a matter of hours, not days! I am going to ask for a refund. It makes absolutely no sense.
