LOVE! I have been going to Fika every couple of weeks for their wonderful hot chocolate, but recently discovered that they serve a mean matcha latte!! i really enjoy their patio and their wall of open books - it's a great place to just be alone and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. also LE CREUSET MUGS!!?!

Got my FIKA & Semla (available only December until sometime in April) fix!The bun was quite fresh. To me, the cardamom is not overpowering thankfully, tho the whipped cream is delicious - light & not very sweet at all. Perfectly balanced with a hot cuppa brewed coffee! The service was great, and even though the place was super busy, I was able to enjoy the overall experience.

As part of our weekly coffee shop discoveries we decided to give Fika cafe a try. Located in Kensington market definitely a good stop to fill up your caféine tanks. From outside it just looks like an old house, but don’t judge a book by its cover because they do have a whole wall inside covered with books with no covers. Friendly staff and some cute merchandise. They offer sandwiches and pastries, we tried their lavender latte and cardamom spiced latte, they were amazing. Not super in your face but definitely settle taste and very relaxing. As far as seats they have a few tables in the front, three tables in the back by their famous wall and some patio seatings in the backyard. We visited during the week and it was quiet, definitely spot to read your book.

The perfect cafe! Extensive drinks menu and some really delicious pastries and treats you can’t get anywhere else (except maybe Sweden). I could live on their back patio

A must visit for me whenever I’m in Toronto! In love with their cardamom lattes and buns! I personally prefer warming up the buns at home and like them because they aren’t too sweet. Also, if they have the Semlas available - they’re definitely a special Swedish treat.

Came here after years! Pretty good americano, and I liked the ginger snap. A two bite snack which is affordable but satisfies that sugar craving.I wish it was cozier, and had some music. The chairs are stiff, the sofa sides had some stains, and I was surprised to see there wasn’t much seating this time near the iconic wall of open books. That part of the cafe just isn’t inviting at all. Would recommend an upgrade on furniture!

Perfect little nook to chill and enjoy a cardamom spice latte. Cozy and beautiful, it also sells coffee ware and beans. Simply perfect.

Very cute cafe w limited indoor seating but some homey outdoor seating! The matcha latte was amazing. The Swedish desserts are also fantastic :) I was able to find a seat to study for a few hours in fortunately during the wknd. The vibes were quite nice.

The toasts should be more soft, the bread was not really great but the salmon and everything else has great flavor.
