Fanshawe Conservation Area

I go almost daily all year.Great place to experience nature.

Very beautiful place, lots of trees and places to walk trough. The price is reasonable considering the view.They have a small cabin with options to buy food but there is only one, I would suggest you take your own food with you.

Fantastic place for trekking with trees, river and dam.Has allocated place for family picnics including bonfires.Can watch several bird species based on visiting time of year.The dedicated trek is over 21 km crossing several beautiful places. The vehicle usage is limited to certain extent but dedicated parking spots (free of cost) are planned.Even people can do kayaking with their own kayaks.Some people were even seen playing golf and enjoying the initial summer time.Tourists can even view the place from bird’s eye.

Great space for day use if you're doing water activities, hiking, or mountain biking.After lunch is when canoe and kayak rentals will book up on the weekend. Get there early to avoid disappointment.Over 10km of multi-use trails available.Some common picnic spots are busy on weekends so I used the picnic area by the rental office.Some facilities needed some love. Overall enjoyable - especially during the air show.

Its a great place to go hiking, the lakeside trail is flooded this time of the year though and the trail is pretty barren.

Amazing naturalistic park, with the best natured-related attractions in the London area. There are the best hiking and bike trails. A lot of the trails have ample shade and makes for a nice environment. Lots of parking space within the conservation area. This park is giant and cannot be covered entirely in one day. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys biking. Great place!

We really enjoyed our visit to this place. We camp for a night and watched high school regatta competition the next day since my son is one of them. .The place is amazingly beautiful.

Great place! Lots to do, tons of wildlife and scenic views

Its a good place to have a walk and place for picnic.Entrance is free before May 1 so it very budget friendly for the family.

Probably one of the best places in the locality. It is a very large area, so better get there the earliest so that you can explore most of the place. Due to Winter, most water activities are suspended now. Summer would be the best for such entertainments.There are many trails and walkways around there. This is a very good place for biking and a refreshing walk. Most of the trails have shade from the trees and the walk between them makes it a completely different experience.Fanshawe Dam (Hydroelectric power plant) inside this area adds a the real aesthetics to this area. The view from the dam, especially on sunset is really good. Was lucky enough to experience a great view from there last day.There are so many activities going over there. Make sure to check their seasonal restrictions....
