Castleridge Veterinary Clinic

I have been using this vet for 5 years now, and up until recently would have only said positive things....until today.They are so Covid paranoid that when my son's lab took a turn for the worse and had to be put down today...they would not even allow us to be with the dog...needless to say, they were fired...and we went elsewhere.I can understand at the beginning of the pandemic to have rules like this...but April 2023 is the date and they should be past this.Instead the paranoid attitude out weighs their compassion.Shame on you !!!!

We love all the staff here. Every vet tech and every doctor treats the animals with pure love. Affordable but quality.

Always super helpful and friendly. Great prices.We recently had to have our dog cross over the rainbow bridge, and the staff were amazing with her and us.

This place is an absolute joke, it's very dirty, it's extremely overpriced, at least double than any other vet, and theres one receptionist who is incredibly rude and can't believe she hasn't been fired a long time ago!Go somewhere else! Save your money!!

Crooks and scammers. Your pets are merely a vessel to fund this vets lifestyle, nothing more. They quickly jump at the opportunity to take advantage of your pet in pain and patronize you; their prices are utterly unreasonable and I have read others complaining about that too.If you barely care about your pet and can afford to be taken advantage of, this is a great place for you. If that’s not you, try anywhere else.My senior friend and her husband sadly just had the worst experience here with a “misdiagnosis” which would result in a disgusting amount of money. The writing is on the wall that they ignored the tumour (which someone without eyes and didn’t spend 7 years in vet school could have seen) and claimed that some of the dogs teeth needed to be removed, quoting her around $2000. But it’s because they love animals, not money, right?Luckily my friend went to another clinic who properly diagnosed the dogs pain and dealt with it for a quarter of the price this dumpster fire of a clinic quoted her.

I have been going here for over 20 years. Great place for me to take my fur babies too. I trust them fully. Very friendly staff and always patient with me when I have any questions. they take the time to ensure I understand any issues my fur babies have and they call to check on them later and see how there doing.

I will only trust my Cookie with this clinic!They are so gentle, kind, thorough, and welcoming.I took my 13-year-old Shih Tzu for a gland issue. We got some antibiotics and great holistic tips. They did not try to push anything unnecessary on us!I have had cookie since he was only 6-weeks old and we have tried many different veterinarians in Calgary; and Castleridge Veterinarian Clinic have far surpassed my expectations.Thank you to the lovely team!

I love this Clinic, I have been taking my many pets here since the mid 80's I love Dr. Brian Jesmer, he was kind and gentle. Always above and beyond. His retired but his staff, whom I have known for decades, they are friendly and caring. My furbabies has all now passed away (Canine). So I have not been there for awhile.

A wonderful clinic that always treats me and my cats well! They are upfront about costs and conscious of how difficult some things can be to afford, and they're gentle and great with pets. I would totally recommend!
