Canine Proficiency Center

I absolutely love the canine proficiency center and more importantly my dog does too. Malachi goes for boarding at least 4 days a month and always comes back happy and tired. This is one of the few boarding centers that doesn't charge you to do activities with your dogs. He always comes home refreshed on his training and Dean will always update you on how the dogs are adjusting

It's such a relief having Canine Proficiency Center in town! I've dropped off my two boys a few times and I can always rest assured that they will be treated so well! I love that they are active during their whole visit and they come home happy and tired.

Dean & Jessi are absolutely amazing with all breeds/ temperaments.It’s amazing to be able to have reliable folks to care for my dog while I’m away at work or for a weekend. Both day services and boarding services have been exceptional.

Dean and the team truly love every dog in their care. Our dog's behavior has greatly improved since our first day and we continue to bring her twice a week to socialize. She is always well taken care of and any questions will be answered with helpful tips/tricks. Not to mention seriously helping us out when we are in a jam with work/holidays. Top notch service for both us and our highly energetic GS - Mazie! ***Highly recommended***

Great people, very knowledgeable and helpful when you have questions. I was worried about where to bring my dog for daycare as he is a rottweiler mix but they welcomed him with no hesitation and tell me all about his funny personality when I pick him up. He comes home happy and is happy to go back when I take him. I very highly recommend them!

Dean and his team are trained in dog behaviour and know how to handle a lot of dogs in a space - which they have plenty of space for the dogs. They are true animal owners and lovers with the end goal to have happy and adjusted dogs in their space. Highly recommend if you want a facility with not only space, but also trained individuals caring for your dogs.

Canine proficiency center is absolutely the best place for your dogs to be while you are away. Staff is so friendly, accommodating and have a true passion for what they do. They know their business and they know dogs. It’s so hard to find a kennel where the staff understand canines and how to treat a pack. I 100% recommend this business for all your boarding and training needs, you won’t be disappointed!

Our two English Cockers love spending occasional days at this place. They are played right out on kennel days. The occasional text to update us is a nice touch.Pickup and Drop-off is slick and the price is more than fair.

Five stars are not enough! Jessi, Dean and Roxanna have been absolutely wonderful with my fur baby Riley! For starters, I ALWAYS come home with a tired dog. He has never come home with any cuts, puncture wounds or anything like that. This morning I had mentioned a concern I was having with him. When I picked him up tonight, they had been working on a solution for me, went out of their way to go into detail, and make me feel comfortable with this solution. Jessi made sure to give me the teachings to be able to be successful with it as well.They have gone above and beyond any and all expectations I had of them. I feel so safe having my fur baby in their care, and I can tell by the way he acts when we reach the bottom of the hill that he is so excited to be going too!I recommend them 100%! If you haven’t taken your dog to see them, do it, you won’t be disappointed!

Unreasonable and unwilling to facilitate a simple request to drop off a bag of food for my dog before going out of town for a few days. I asked Roxanne in the morning if it was possible to drop the food off in the afternoon while being cognizant of the drop/pick-up hours and was advised to send a text ahead of time and that it shouldn't be a problem. Dean denied that conversation ever took place even though he wasn't there nor did he even ask Roxanne about it to my knowledge. He implied that I was lying or fabricating that conversation and refused to reason or discuss the issue/miscommunication. His solution was to terminate me as a client and was unwilling to reason or resolve the disagreement professionally. We're better off without them given his being completely unreasonable and unwilling to facilitate a simple request that would not have disturbed operations.Do not recommend.
