When you can see Bonsecours Market through your dorm window, you know there is no other place in Montreal that can beat the location. The place is really clean (and looks pretty new). Beds have metalic frames and are very heavy. No way you can shake them : they are tough. Individual light and plug on everybed for more confort, and fully equiped shared kitchen. 11/10 would recommand!

Very happy with this hostel! Clean, quiet, respectful guests, friendly staff, an awesome common area, clean beds, and more! We stayed in a 15 person co-ed room that was cozy but perfect for a place to sleep after exploring the city all day. I haven't stayed in a hostel before here, so I have nothing to compare it to but it certainly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend. Great location as well!

Having stayed at a tonne of hostels all around the globe, i had the worst night sleep at this one. However, staff were very friendly and hostel itself is in a great location. Would have been nice for the hostel to explain that it is situated above a nightclub and music/basslines will go on until 3am at least. There are no quiet hours or at least any signs notifying guests to be respectful to other guests at late hours. Rooms were fairly clean except under the beds. Showers had cobwebs above them. Toilets were lacking toilet roll on many occasions. Beds are triple bunkers, again no information from hostel on that before booking. Breakfast was basic, there was 1 1/2 working toaster for 30+guests.Overall rated 3 stars as I understand it's a hostel and cheap and easy for the many.

You can't beat the location, clean common areas, nice staff and good vibes :-) Great way to visit Montreal and meet new people

I stayed here for five weeks and I loved it!Great location in the old port, the common area is beautiful and features a TV, lounge, plenty of room to sit and a kitchen (which can get crowded at some times during the day).The whole building seems to be newly renovated, the showers and toilets are clean, as is the rest of the place.Free breakfast in the morning, often there is enough coffee for the entire day.The staff is awesome and friendly.I met so many great people here!When I'm back in Montreal some day, I'll he sure to stay here.

The location was fantastic. Short walk to Chinatown and other transit options. You're essentially at downtown. The rooms were pretty standard. The mattresses were firm yet comfortable. I personally like the bean bag pillows but they may not be for everyone. I found the wool(?) blanket a bit scratchy and the other blanket a bit too thin. I didn't like how most rooms were disconnected from the main lobby kitchen area. You have to walk through outside cold to get to your food or water. The bathrooms were not completely separate rooms. They were more like stalls with house doors if that makes any sense. I tend not to use hostel showers for one night stays so I can't comment on them.

The best location in Old Montreal!! Great rooms and beds. Large windows and welcoming common hall.

It is great! It has a great spot with lots of cute streets, stores and restaurants! I loved it! You can meet many people here and it is in general very clean. WiFi is great, staff friendly.However, (there is always something, right?) in a 10 bedroom we only had 4 outlets and they were located at two beds. You kind of had to disturb the people in the bed to charge your phone. Also, the beds can be very squeaky. My bed was super loud at night, turning around my bed gave a concert and I felt like I wake up everyone.But this hostel is great and I can only recommend it! I would definitely stay there again! :)

Good for several nights. I stayed in the mixed dormitory. Because of the club or bar right under the hostel, it was pretty noisy at night. If you want quiet place, you should find anther place. Other things were perfect such as breakfast. Oops. There is no blow dryer! And extra blanket will be needed.
