I took an Uber and got to this store at 3:50pm on a Sunday and the doors were locked. It closes at 4pm. I looked inside and saw a cashier, knocked, and he shook his head to say no they’re not open. I purposefully went out of my way to visit this location to get my hair supplies here since it’s a black owned business, but extremely disappointed they don’t honour their posted hours. Do better.

So I've read the negative reviews but I wanted my hair done. The person I had cancelled on me last minute, which is okay. So I the Ragga store today, December 31 around 10:30. I asked if I can get box braids, he said when I said todaaaay. He laughed and went I don't understand how you waited until today to call and ask for braids" continued laughing and being so loud "you should've.. " I interrupted him and said I don't understand how its okay for you to say that or lecture me! You don't even know me! Because it's last minute I get it

The Greg and Rickey went above and beyond for me, even though they didn’t have to. What’s more, the store has everything I needed and then some!An amazing and lasting first impression! I love the fact that I’m originally from the Bahamas and all the hair products I usually purchase in the Bahamas I was able to find them here and it’s black owned a little pricey but it’s downtown Toronto

I went in this morning for a long over due hair cut and it was such a great experience. From the moment I called to make the appointment to when I walked out the door I felt like I was in great hands. I appreciated all the info and tips on how to care for my hair and they provided me with the products I needed with out upwelling me on anything. Both of these gentlemen are so kind and knowledgeable… I highly recommend this salon and I for sure will be returning to stock up and get another trim. Thank you so much!!

I had a great experience in this store. Its kept very clean and organized and the people working were informative and genuine. I'm very happy with the products I purchased. I asked about a product I have been using for decades and yes they had no problem pointing out I was behind in the times but I was provided with updated products that are very nice. I will definitely return.

This review is long overdue--got my hair done just over a month ago for a trip i was taking. I booked an appointment in advance with Mesambe for a starfish cornrow design. She was quick, efficient, professional and friendly and frankly her work spoke for itself (got many, many compliments). Was a lovely vibe in the salon, Gordon and Ricky were incredibly nice and it was an absolute pleasure finding a friendly, nearby salon for good - no, actually great - quality braids. Will definitely be back! Thanks again :)
