We sent a Barrel to Jamaica and they took care of us more than any other shipping company we've worked with

A bunch of crooks, my brother ship a barrel and they say its lost. They won't even give us proof it was ever shipped at all. Avoid this company and sue them for theft. I have been shipping with global for many years and have found their service to be very efficient and professional. I wouldn't issisate to recommend their service to anyone

We agreed on a pick-up date for a barrel, and they didn't show up. No communication, waited all day. They called me over the weekend, and I didn't answer because I was busy at a function. When I called them on Monday, to ask when they were coming, they questioned me to as why I didn't answer or text on Saturday. (Apparently ignorant of there own failed communication on the pick-up date.) He immediately said he was busy would call me back in a few minutes - they never did. Guess they don't want the business. I love to support Caribbean businesses, but these are the companies that give us a bad rep.

I would give this place zero stars if it would let me. DO NOT use this company to help you move. Everything they do does not help you at all and leaves you stressed out. Moving is already stressful but I had a panic attack in the middle of trying to move my elderly parents 2 floors up in their condo.First, the movers were supposed to be with us from 9am - 5pm. Apparently one of the guys got into an accident so Alex had to find someone else to cover. So I started moving things in my own for 5 hours because they didn’t show up until 2pm. Take that in... 2 PM!!! I’m ok with moving things, but I should not have had to do it for 5 HOURS. I also don’t know where this other ‘mover’ came from because he was clearly clueless. He smelled like weed and when he tried to lift one side of the table he said ‘oh that’s heavy’. Yes, that’s exactly why we hired you. Not sure what exactly he thought he was doing for the day. It’s almost as if Alex just picked up some random person who was not qualified for this job. To make matters worse, this second mover complained that he was hungry 45 mins into moving. He wouldn’t stop complaining so Alex let him go get food. He of course doesn’t have money even though he ordered a $24 meal.Secondly, the attitude of these people was SO terrible. Alex requested his money an hour before he was going to be finished. You show up 5 hours late and then expect to be paid an hour before you’re done??? How about you FINISH YOUR JOB before you get paid. Like any other business, you provide a service and then you get paid. Then to make matters worse, just after 5, Alex asks if we still need him. There was still so many boxes to move and he had only been there for 3 hours.Again, if you want a stress free move, this is NOT the company for you. I don’t understand how these people are in business but it pains me to know that other people are dealing with the same BS of this company when they shouldn’t have to.

This is a terrible company. Very unprofessional communication. Originally, I was pleased to have secured a moving date and time and sent them $50. A week later they told me that the money had not gone through and to send it again. I confirmed with my bank that it had indeed been deposited. I began to feel uncomfortable with the way this company does business and so tried to reason with them but they refused to get back to me. One of the owners eventually promised to give me my deposit back but of course, that money has not been given back.If they can't handle my $50 -- there is no way I am trusting these people with my things! I didn't want to have to be sorting out these details of my move so close to the deadline but here I am. I would avoid this company!

This is 5 week kn and I in hear bout my barrel telling it delay

Ignorant VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ..when I called to get info on my barrel he laughed and said I was lying about having a barrel picked up after I paid to have it shipped…..NO DEFAMATION HERE MY FRIEND……LOOK AT MOST ALL THE REVIEWS SOMEONE HAD A PROBLEM. WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY A IGNORANGT AND EXTREMLY UNPROFESSIONAL. ALEX WILL TRY AND JUSTIFY HIS UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR.

Thank god I did my research before booking with these ppl. My husband found the number and asked me contact them to ship 2 barrels to Jamaica. The man answered to the phone and I asked him the price, from the start he was ignorant and demanding. I asked him if I had the right company and confirmed the name and address and quickly googled it while I was at my desk. I said due to his reviews I would choose not to proceed, he started yelling at me a hung up in my ear. Then a number called back with a woman on the phone, she said where she was calling from and I said the same thing. I DO NOT want your services!! All of a sudden I hear the same man in the back round telling me he is going to have me charged by the police. All in all terrible experience before even booking a service! AVOID these people at all cost!! Oh and for the icing on the cake...... he called back my husband after I left this review and told him he would sue me for deformation of character!!! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!

Very unprofessional and rude. Sent a barrel back home over a month ago and my family was unable to receive it because the company did not pay their part. Contacted the company to resolve this issue and was met with attitude and excuses all while they failed to acknowledge that they did not do their job.Ps. We paid in full before the barrel was sent off.Save yourself and use a different company. Global Moving Systems is not worth the headache.
