Memory Express Computers Ottawa

I initially discovered this store on the way to Best Buy. I happened to notice it and went it in. The sales associate (I'm sorry forget the name but the hair was very noticeable) was patient and extremely helpful. I was just shopping around so went to BB and whilst they were okay they were no where near as knowledgeable. In the end I went back to Memory Express and purchased a laptop from a different person but again very patient and knew exactly what I wanted. As an aside after my purchase I had a slight problem involving SD/SIM card slot issue and they solved if for me with a smile. I can't recommend them enough.Mark Strachan

This is the computer store in Ottawa you need to use. Stuff in stock, good staff, and a clean store. What more could you need?

It was my first time coming to this location and was looking to buy all the parts for my first PC build but nevertheless Mr. Ashif (sales associate) was very patient and accomodating. I came in with the parts that I wanted to buy in mind but was open to suggestions by the staff there. Mr. Ashif not only recommend the best parts for my budget but he also managed to trim down the price I had thought I was going to spend coming in the store. Safe to say my experience with these guys was great and will come again. I recommend memory express in Nepean to everybody in the area who wants to build their PC and also for other stuff computer related as they are knowledgable and offers a great service.

This is my first time shopping at Memory Express and I had a great experience. The store employee was very helpful, they got all the parts for me, answered all of my questions and gave recommendations, made sure I knew about their return and refund options and conditions. The sale prices were very reasonable and competitive and the store itself was very clean, well organized and inviting. Would shop there again.

Fantastic Service!It is a breath of fresh air to have a computer store where you can get custom PC components with a knowledgeable team and more importantly great customer service.I spoke to the staff there on a slow rainy day, and they were very nice, knowledgeable and just overall a very pleasant shopping experience.The store is clean, and visually pleasent... My favourite computer store in Ottawa! The staff that helped me custom build my new PC were very very knowledgeable and amazing customer service. They helped me pick all the components and made sure I had all the right hardware to perform all the needed tasks that I required. The staff also built the computer and when I went to pick it up, brought it all out to my car for me and made sure I was set. Thanks again memory express! I highly recommend Memory Express.

(READ ALL for the whole experience)I don't usually write reviews, but I had a fantastic experience with this location due to the staff's phenomenal customer service and communication. Building a PC can be costly as a product warranty can be void due to shortages/ damages to the products. Nonetheless, it is essential to understand that extra expenses may associate with your build when purchasing hardware. I had a friend build my pc, and it wasn't the greatest. My friend still has superior knowledge than most people who try to solo, but unfortunately, he didn't serve the best purpose. I contacted Memory Express, and they ended up replacing my fan motherboard and helping resolve my CPU issues. I paid an extra $150 for services because I didn't get them to build it from the start($100 for labor and $50 for diagnostics). Buy all the parts from Memory Express as they offer lower prices/matches also, pay an extra $100 for the staff to build your system, and it comes with a 1-year reservice warranty. Most people believe they save money building their systems, but you can damage components and void a warranty, so it's crucial to have the staff develop your system, and if anything goes wrong, you're covered. It's hard to believe anyone had a bad experience at this location, as I am living proof Memory Express lives up to its name. I have never experienced such an excellent service, and I have been to all reputable hardware stores in the city. I know where I will buy all my components from going further. Ask for Robert M or Derek, they are absolute beasts, and they are so underrated. The owner needs to give them a bonus ASAP! Thanks again, guys!Check out the build by Robert and Derek.
