FIRST ONSITE Property Restoration

Firstonsite workers did thier best to restore water damaged areas. However its best to follow up daily on work being done so that areas of damage are addressed by different trades as completed. Rather than wait at the end when work completed. The estimated completion date was more or less on target given date of completion. I was pleased with the service provided. I would recomend their service.

I was very happy with how quickly you responded and had someone out to get fans in and start drying up the affected area. Everything was repaired beautifully and in fact I did recommend your service to a friend when a similar situation occurred and in fact their insurance company brought FirstonSite on as a new contractor. Your staff are professional, polite and skilled.

We needed our floor replaced and ceiling fixed. We asked to be back in Friday. We were told not possible, they needed extra Day, so out til Monday.I went to look Tuesday, no one working. Wednesday floor installed.. Today, Thursday, noon, no one working. Had they worked one of those days, we'd be home Friday.We gave 2monnth warning.

We had an excellent experience with Jennifer Balzer and her team at FOS. Terra created a schedule that was kept with. All dates were hit and job done on time. Melissa and the contents crew handled my super valuable hobby collection with care which was appreciated. The initial mitigation lead was excellent. I wish I could remember his name but he was great. The drywall team was very good too. They kept working away and on schedule. Virtually no dust anywhere too.If I may add, I run a company that performs sub work in the resto world for resto companies. I work with many. My wife and I have also had 2 resto experiences previously in our home in which we used another company. On the second experience the delays were so bad, that we ultimately cashed out. The follow through in these experiences was just terrible. So we were very hesitant. But we knew through my sales rep who works with Jennifer that she and her team are amazing. And I can certainly say they were. The only minor delays were in splitting the quote up which was due to me entirely as me doing my companies sub work, made the subsequent scope confusing. So I created the delay. OUtside of this the execution was excellent. Some highlights:- FOS people calling us morning of to advise us of when arriving and then when delayed giving us a heads up. so nice.- The schedule was nailled. How often does that happen. Wow.- Jennifer was great to deal with. So on top of things and reassuring. Thank you.- Terra, Melissa and the entire FOS team was so profressional, organized and friendly. And fully PPE prepared. We felt safe. THANKS!- Cooperators team was very good too.Excellent experience and glad to be able to share this.

So many issues with this company and the people they hire to do their things. We were without a shower for over 8 months and things only started moving once we started to become annoying with constant emails asking where people were. We shouldn't have to light a fire in order to get people to start doing their job.Drywall was placed where it shouldn't be. Argued with the tiling people over how we wanted it done and then at the end the shower still looks home-done and done by amateurs. They also cut tile in our bathroom without any protection for our stuff or without telling us to move our stuff and title grit got on EVERYTHING. Including things like toilet paper and toothbrushes.No one even came at the end to confirm if we were happy or to tell us if the project is complete. Haven't heard anything for months now and I just don't think it should be my job to make these things happen. I shouldn't have to be the project manager.This shower does not look better than it used to, it looks worse and we are unhappy but so beyond tired of fighting at this point.I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Our shower doors also no longer line up properly but I can't get a clear picture of it because of lighting. There is still grout everywhere on the tiles because the poor cleaning girls couldn't get alot of it up despite being told to put elbow grease" into it. I absolutely hate these corner bits though.Overall I am not happy having worked with this company and our shower looks awful. Avoid this company if you can help it."

No planning skills to do abatement or repairs, they can't even estimate.First on site will show up quicly but then hold you hostage with no plan for months on end. After 2.5 months I had to get another company to do the repairs. I had to get another restoration company.On emergency response they just use a spray bottle to wipe things and charge a lot of money.

I had a flood in my home on the weekend, and an emergency crew was able to be immediately dispatched. From the start of the process, everyone that I interacted with from First OnSite was extremely professional, courteous, and very informative about the process. They took great care to keep me informed every step of the way, and really eased my mind during a stressful situation. I would highly recommend First OnSite to anyone, and—though I hope to not experience a flood again—I wouldn't hesitate to use First OnSite for future services.

After a recent major water problem in our basement, first on site efficiently and very professionally restored our basement. They employ very competent and personable individuals and it was very easy to work with them. We appreciate the top rate job that they did for us and we would highly recommend them to anyone who has a restoration issue and needs help.

The company is truly a professional in terms of emergency situation and restoration. It took 3 months before the restoration started. A bit of delay due to availability of the laminate. However, it was a smooth sailing from the time they begin moving my stuff in the living room till the installation and replacement of the affected flooring and kitchen cabinet. Their staff and sub-contractors are professional, courteous and awesome. Good Job!

I had a foundation problem and had first on site come out through my house insurance. When I called my insurance company they had the project manager from Abbotsford office out within 1 hour to do assesment, and he had one of his employees out the next day to open wall to find leak.I discussed with the project manager to have someone come in to fix crack in foundation, and wall he agreed , but was not ever in contact again with him after that . I ended up having to source out finding someone to repair the crack and the drywall myself, I would never recommend this company to do work again,all said and done it’s taken 3 months to repair no thanks.
