Cicerone John - Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

I had 2 herniated lower back discs that were crippling for years. After 2 years of little sleep, surgeons recommendations that were less than favorable, cookie cutter physio and band aid treatments, last resort went to Dr. John.This extremely caring family man did accu pressure and decompression on first visit but gave me lots of homework to do before next visit. He explained to me that my health has always been in my hands and everyone has the ability to heal themselves if they just open there minds and listen carefully to his exercise instruction. I thought is was all hogwash at first but strengthening exercises are to be done morning noon and night to get back on track and no physio place or surgeons can do that for you, your with yourself 24 hours a day and Dr John teaches you that you are your own best hope.After weeks of giving this new approach a chance, last one I had because I was thinking incorrect thoughts about my future at that point.After a 4th appointment , for 3 days I cursed his name for 72 hours, what had he done to me but on the 4th day I awoke and I was not pain free, but 3/4 of pain was gone. I was in tears because one does not understand what years of chronic pain and sleep deprivation will do to ones mind unless you've experienced it, and you live to tell the story.I'm living proof, that one can overcome surgeons that only give you a 40% chance of walking again, however, Dr John gave me my life back and I'm not just walking and running again, im living again and its thanks to him. All he did was give me the tools to fix myself because his philosophy is simple, with the right knowledge the individual can heal themselves with his help because he doesn't practice medicine for repeat clients, he never wants to see you again in a professional manner, just on the street saying hello and enjoying life once again.He's extremely busy, and moves clients around sometimes if someone is in extreme trouble, he listens and helps you, as you have to be committed as he is, its the only way it fully works, thats why I'm into yoga with limitations, but I play sports again, I laugh and play with my family and friends again and I'm not a burden on them anymore, I'm the asset I once was and its all do to this selfless man.Thank you Dr. John!

He is AMAZING. That is a given, but to even get in to see him is next to impossible as the office frequently cancels or gives my appointments to other clients then scolds me when I show up for my or my kids appointments. I'm deaf so I'm not sure if that is part of the problem communication wise but most certainly not the friendliest office staff or deaf friendly communication methods used.
