The brunch was amazing, coupled with a stunning view of the river and surrounding gardens. The pancakes were honestly top 5 for me, really soft and fluffy. The cheesecake with strawberry sauce was also killer

A beautiful cafe and gift shop set on the Hunter river. The food is great and service to match. I took the bowl of chowder. It’s big and very filling!

When we got into the restaurant I was amazed by the presented view. The seats and the whole interior were cozy. The food was well presented with a very aromatic smell. We really enjoyed our time there and special props to Greg who helped us through with good humor and suggestions! We enjoyed our lunch!

PEI Preserves is an awesome spot to stop, grab a delicious meal or a dessert and choose one of the many teas to try. Then check out the gift shop and tour the gardens..all while taking in the views of River Clyde.

Very happy with the food and service. Feels very authentic and welcoming. The prices also seemed reasonable given the quality and service. Beautiful gardens that make for an amazing wall after a meal. Also, didn't have a chance to have dessert, but will definitely be going back as it looked amazing.

This place was the best breakfast place to stop by. The food was absolutely delicious. The view overlooked their garden where they grow fruits to make their homemade jams. The tea selection was a gem. The price was super affordable as well.

I was at your establishment in the late afternoon June 25th. I had an amazing waitress, she told us her name was Brianne, as she greeted us and poured us some water. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products on your menu. We had a great conversation with her, and she recommended some amazing places to visit on the island, including your gardens. While she seemed very busy she took the time to ensure that we felt like the only ones of importance at that moment. We look forward to coming back, and having her as our waitress.

I was here 20 years ago with family and came back with my partner today. Equally as delightful as I remembered - excellent lunch, friendly service, and reasonably priced. Beautiful dining room too with a view over the river and the gardens.

We have eaten here on every trip to PEI since they opened the restaurant. The food is good, atmosphere cozy, and friendly servers. On previous visits we have had the opportunity to make a reservation however this year the only option was to join a waitlist, which we did (behind groups of 25, 11, 8, etc…). We were seated only a few minutes after the window we were given and drinks arrived quickly. However, our cups ran dry as we sat and waited over an hour for our lunch. We were given a small plate of chips and salsa for the four of us to tide us over. I’m not sure if it was the larger parties that got the kitchen backed up or not, and the food was good when it came out, but I’m not sure that the waitlist system is working all that well for them. We skipped dessert, which is usually a favourite, as we just wanted to get out of our 2 hour marathon lunch.
