All About Kids

My 3 1/2 year old daughter (1st child) has been going to this daycare since she was an infant. The facility is warm, colourful and clean. We love everything about this daycare but most of all love the people. The staff's love for the kids is really obvious and everyone is always happy. We highly recommend this daycare.

All About Kids Daycare (North York) is an amazing daycare. Being in the field of education, I whole-heartedly believe that I could not have found a better daycare for my 3 children. I have been a part of the All About Kids family for 6 years strong. I know when I go to work my kids are/were in the best hands. All About Kids provide great care for my children. The staff maintain a positive and productive daycare environment. They praise children regularly and ensure children are participating. They always speak to children in a respectful and honest manner and state expectations for behaviour when necessary. The staff always greet children to the classroom in the morning and listen attentively to their stories and comments. They always assist children in achieving a positive and safe integration into cultural, educational, social and recreational activities. It saddens me that my youngest will be graduating soon; we have created a strong bond with all the staff at All About Kids. They are outstanding, dedicated and patient team players.

This is the best daycare I've seen so far. I got referral from another mom who sent her kid here who had a great experience. I felt the same. The teachers are nice and caring. The director is very accommodating and responsive. The value is quite good too. I sent my first kid to another daycare that costed a lot more and had issues. Highly recommend!

My son has been with All About Kids North Toronto for 2.5 years now. From the moment we walked into the Daycare, we knew this was the right place for our sons. I cannot express enough love and gratitude to the staff at All About Kids in helping to mold and influence my son in such a positive and loving atmosphere. The entire team is such a wonderful group of people, lead by Crystal, who has become like a second family to us. It is so comforting to have our son attend a daycare that focuses on love, and just allows our son to be himself which has allowed him to grow into the independent, smart boy he is today. Thank you to Crystal, Jimmy, Cindy, Nousha, Samantha and the entire All About Kids team at Sheppard center for being a safe, warm, fun and educational place for our son to go everyday! My son has been going to this daycare for the past two years, and we just had a positive experience with them. My son loves going to daycare in the morning, and there are days that he cries at the end of the day because he wants to stay and play for a little more.Just a little update: Since first I wrote this review my son is now finished daycare and is in school, but we were so happy with the quality of care my son received while enrolled there that we decided to register my daughter. She has started in the infant room in September and moving to Toddler next month. She loves daycare and never cried going in. I hardly ever look at the webcams now as I trust everyone at AAK. Sherry is not only a great director but a fantastic person. Since we started there almost four years ago, most staff stayed the same, and I believe that's because of Sherry. I consider myself lucky to have found such a fantastic daycare.Nazli Tehrani: I feel obligated to reply to you as the staff at All About Kids have become like family to my kids and me and for you to spread lies about them breaks my heart.1- You didn't tell me teachers were sitting you said the kids were playing all day and I explained the benefits of play-based learning. There is much research to support that. There is usually one teacher sitting with the students doing some art or other activities while the other two walk around and engage in children's play. They are not even allowed to have their phones out in the classroom. The head office checks the camera periodically and makes sure all the staff are following this rule.2- Yes there is a camera in the classroom but not the hallway and the washrooms and some students might go to the toilet more than others but you said few hours without going to the washroom, and I said that was not possible. Also the camera is not so clear for you to see your child wet pants. Even after our last conversation, when you said all the kids had more nugget than your child, I logged in to see if I can see what is in my child's bowl and it is impossible to see little details like that.3- The reason I said she was young was because of another issue you had with her about throwing the food I said I never noticed that and again I asked other parents in that class and they said that never happened. Again periodically head office checks them.4- I'm glad she is doing fine but I was just showing the trend.About the supervisor's grandkid I never said you were right I said if that is how you feel then think about how hard it would be for her to transition to school. Obviously, she is more comfortable at daycare than your daughter since she has been going there since she was one same as my two kids. You can't compare a kid who just started going to daycare at age 3 to someone who has been going since 1. Also anyone who knows me know that I hardly ever use the F word. I am sure you added that for dramatic effect.P.S. Funny how easy it is for you to lie. I used to look at the Camera all the time for the first two years my son attended but stopped looking every day after that since they gained my trust. For my daughter, I look once a week, so I can talk to her about her day at daycare but don't find it necessary to watch every second of the day.P.S. I chose All About Kids not because it was cheaper because it had a more homey environment which I wanted for my kids. The foods are sometimes from the box (like chicken nugget) but not all the time and I love the smell of food in the hallways close to lunch it makes it feel more like home. Again you are changing my words and twisting them.P.S. You are right I can't tell you how to raise your kid. But I just needed to clarify that most of your comments were either lies or based on your speculations. There are many families at All About Kids like me with their second and third children, and they all have come back because of the great environment and educations their first kid received there. Also, many teacher parents who obviously care about their children's education as much as you if even not more.

Both of my children attended this daycare for years, and I always recommend it to friends or co-workers. I can’t say how much I love the place, and the people that work there.This facility does have a routine of what gets done when. They taught both of my kids how to write their names, and my kids both loved it there. It feels like a big family, and I always trusted them with my kids.One perk that a friend pointed out (and she had been to different daycares) was the decorations and play centres. The girls are great at creating a fake ice cream shop or rocket ship, and everything in between. The kids would get so much excitement out of it, and loved to show it off to parents.This daycare is great, and I miss it now that both of my Kids are in school.

I had been searching for a daycare for my daughter for the past year and a bit and had the pleasure of having Crystal, an employee at this daycare, help me with any questions I had along the way. She was very responsive and detailed in every interaction we had. My daughter has yet to start daycare but I look forward to her new journey at All About Kids.

As all new parents know searching for the perfect daycare with loving, caring and welcoming staff is nerve wracking to say the least. I started searching for the perfect fit for my daughter in the North York area when she was 10 months. I toured many centres and was on many waiting lists. Stepping into All About Kids for the first time was easy, it felt as though we were with family. All of the staff greeted us while we were touring the centre and most importantly all made effort to say hello to my daughter. Rates not only for the infant room but all rooms (I did compare the majority of the daycares in the area) were very competitive. The Centre offered part time and full time spots and the director was very assuring that they will work with us to accommodate our needs. After leaving the daycare centre it was an easy and obvious decision, we found the PERFECT daycare!My daughter is in the infant room full time and absolutely loves it. There is fun and educational structure that exceeds ministry expectations. Each room offers access to a webcam which allows myself to connect remotely during the day. Its a wonderful feeling being a first time mom getting to watch my daughter finger paint with her little friends and amazing teachers.Needless to say this daycare exceeds my expectations and truly is a home away from home. I recommend All About Kids, more specifically, 2005 Sheppard Avenue to any parent looking for quality child care. The directer runs a wonderful centre and we couldn't be happier.M
