TL;DR: If you want to know the gender of your baby, make sure your doctor makes note of this on the scan requisition, otherwise, it probably won't be included on the radiologist report.I've been here three times -- first time was for prenatal screening and two times for anatomy scans (they couldn't get certain images of baby the first time so I had to come back again). All three occasions, my appointments started on time, facilities were clean, and the ultrasound technicians were all friendly. No complaints there. My issue is with the fact that, despite my request's, my baby's gender was not disclosed on either of the two anatomy scan reports that were given to my doctor. Now I didn't expect the Ultrasound technician to tell me, even though she said that she could see. I know they're not allowed to disclose any information to the patient for liability reasons. However, I specifically requested, on both occasions, for them to please include the baby's gender on the report so that my doctor could tell me the news. After visiting my doctor's office to get my results the first time, and being very disappointed to learn that the baby's gender was not on that report, I called Kensington Diagnostic Imaging Centre and asked them why it wasn't included, even though I specifically requested I wanted to know. I was given a number of explanations from the admin person I spoke to, and was told that finding out the baby's gender was not what the anatomy scan was for."Come on

This Diagnostics Centre misdiagnosed my baby's situation at 12 weeks stating in their report that baby is healthy. At 19 weeks in another ultrasound place my baby got diagnosed with brain tube defect called anencephaly which lead us to make a hard decision and go through induction labor at Mount Sinai Hospital as they stated that the baby would not survive after he is born. My husband and I are devastated. If we learned this news in 12 weeks it would be much more easier to go through this process both physically and psychologically. Please be careful while choosing an ultrasound place to check your baby's health.

As the owner of a neighbouring chiropractic clinic, we referred patients to this office on a daily basis. Imaging quality by far the best in the city, staff is easy to work with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good diagnostic imaging centre in downtown Toronto!

I have been going to this clinic for many years and recently the experience there was beyond inappropriate and unprofessional. The attendant there named Marina, verbally berated me for not walking up four flights of stairs after I had been waiting in line in the lobby for 15 minutes due to only one elevator working and a huge lineup of people.Once I was in the ultrasound room with her, she threw the ultrasound gun with the gel aggressively across the room into the trash..This type of hostility is totally out of line especially in a medical establishment where care and compassion are paramount.Needless to say I have written a complaint letter to the office manager to which she replied she will speak and discuss this with the technician in question. ,,as well as her staff,. Apparently, this is not the first complaint against this particular technician.!I’m urging anyone who has had any negative experiences at this clinic to get in touch with the office manager -her name is Jill Taylor and please make your voice heard. No clients need to be treated disrespectfully during these trying times. Just an added note to this : I have since had a reaffirmation about my experience when a nurse friend also informed me she does not use this clinic because of the unwelcoming treatment from staff..

I waited 20 minutes after my appointment time with a full bladder. The technician had a really thick accent, I had to ask multiple times to understand her. I had a pelvic ultrasound exam and she didn’t care about my comfort or privacy.

Gave this place one star, the required minimum to post a review.I tried calling on Friday afternoon, and at different points this Monday morning. Only the machine picks up. I don't know for certain if this place is still open. It should be. I called my physician's office, who again faxed them my requisition form. I've left two messages. Their machine says they will get back to people within 1 business day. Nobody has yet tried to reach me from this imaging centre. Again, I have the impression that they are closed, perhaps for an early holiday.Reading the other reviews (80% are negative), coupled with the extreme efforts in reaching a live person who will pick up the phone, I definitely feel uncomfortable in trusting this place for my medical needs.I called my physician's office, and asked to be referred elsewhere. This other nearby place, has picked their line up EACH of the two times that I've called, and also has mostly positive reviews. This location's apparent unavailability was perhaps a blessing in disguise.

Quick and professional service. I had an x-ray and ultrasound and was in and out in about 30 minutes. The x-ray was on a drop in basis but the ultrasound required an appointment which was available the day after I called.

I went here for all my ultrasounds in first pregnancy and now back with my second (having tried an ultrasound clinic closer to me and having a much less pleasant experience there with both technician and reception staff). The ultrasound technicians here are lovely, and genuinely happy to show you your baby on the screen. They explained the whole process very well. Reception staff has also been very helpful every time I call or go in.

I received a call from KDIC and the person on the phone started up quickly about the results of some medical imaging- about another patient, someone I didn't know at all. In fact, I didn't even know who KDIC were. I tried to explain that they had called the wrong number, that they were giving me someone else's medical results, to hold on! And the person on the phone asked me what the number should they have for their records. ?What? I said it again- wrong number- and she seemed even more confused and asked me to confirm the health card number. Gracious. Finally I explained it successfully, along with the fact that giving out someone else's health results is mildly scandalous.
