The actual movers were very good. Worked hard. However the supervisor..Joe.. was manipulative and intimidating.. Added hours. Insisted on up front cash day of move or wouldnt bring the truck. They low ball the price and jack it up when u have no other choice. A terrible experience.

I would not recommend this moving company. They brought the wrong size truck had to move twice. They couldn’t even work three hours straight with out taking multiple breaks They were so rough with my belongings I had to tell them over and over the boxes are all upside down They were throwing the boxes on the floor so hard. They broke a chunk of wood off my bed smashed wine glasses and broke a heirloom antique. And took way too long. I paid way too much for. 18 km drive. I was not happy with these guys.

Excellent service once again!I used Vhaul Movers for my move within Oshawa 2 years ago and was really impressed by their service. Hence, I have recently used them once again when I had to move out of Oshawa. The service has remained excellent. My movers were Abbas and Mohamed – they were very courteous, hard working and treated my belongings with great care and respect.Thanks again for your help!!! Definitely recommend.

The worst experience ever.My husband and I were moving from Windsor to Ottawa in April. We’ve contacted and agreed with VHAUL and paid a deposit in February. Two days before our moving day they tell us that their truck went into an accident and that they won’t be able to do the move. We try calling them back several times to at least give us anyone else’s number or help us out in any way and what I get is a text saying that it’s Ramadan and they’re busy and can’t answer. At the end, they gave us someone else’s number that wanted to charge us extra and didn’t have an insurance or any document that proves that they’re legit.*They sent us back our deposit the next day*Horrible experience.

!!!!!! WARNING SCAMMERS !!!!!!The company took our money and never showed up.The movers were scheduled a couple weeks in advance. They asked us if we could reschedule to the next day because they over booked themselves. We rescheduled to the next day. The movers then said they wouldn't be there until 9pm at night. The movers never showed up. We didn't get a refund.

I would not recommend this company and their business practices completely un professional include bullying and threating you in paying full amount in the middle of loading process.First , sales person was so kind and informative giving me all the information , answering my questions clearly and asuuring me everything will be smooth and no issue.However, moving day the truck is nowhere to find , I was calling the the office number , no answer , leaving voice mail there is no return call for hours , finaly after 4 hours later , driver called me and let me know they will be arriving late . Instead 9:00 am pickup shedule , the truck arrived 1:10 pm .After 1 and half hour loding the truck , the driver told me that his boss wanted to talk to me. This person , they called boss started to talking to me very rude and demanding tone , asking full amount of balance otherwise their worker will unload the truck right away .When I told him , the contract not include to pay full amount before they deliver my household , he became so aggresive and blaming me not being ready to full amount because it is common sense.I realized this person cannot be communicated reasonale way , ( never learned full name , they called him boss or Van ) so, I told him that stop shouting and arguing with me , I need to go to bank and get cash for payment and he told me that his worker wil charge me extra money for waiting time while I get money from the bank.All these unexpected ordeal , two workers tried to calm me down specially Oliver Zamarad tried his best;. All furniture, shelving, boxes were well padded and survived the trip well. Only mirro was broken because it wasnt padded by worker ,I ended up paying full amount before receiving my house holdafter 4 days later in my destination place.That person ( Called him boss or Van) used threats, scare tactics and bullying to get their bill paid in a matter of minutes eventhough never mentioned during the aggrement and/or before moving date.NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY MOVING SERVICE.

SCAM ALERT!!! SCAM ALERT!!!I would give zero stars if I could. These guys they will take your stuff, load their truck and then hold you hostage for more money. They threatened my friend to drop her stuff by the side of the load unless she paid them twice the amount agreed to. After we paid the money they extorted out of us for the additional money, they dump the stuff at the loading dock (without taking them into the unit as per our agreement) and toke off. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

I was moving a number of items to a storage unit. Mohammed and his teammate Hassan did an excellent job wrapping my items with care, and efficiently packing the storage unit so certain items were easily accessible as needed. Polite, courteous and accommodating! And all completed in under 3 hours! I wouldn’t hesitate to book with VHaul again. Thanks for a great job well done.

Great team to work with. Took longer time then expected because of long walk from the apartment to the house, still they gave extra help finished everything on time. Excellent service Van keep it up

BEWARE. Showed up at the wrong time for a move. 3 hours early. Which would of been fine if that was the only issue. After everything was loaded into the truck suddenly their manager needs to be called about payment. They demand payment that is $800 more than expected or they will not bring items to the new location or take them out of the truck to cancel. All payment methods they offer are suddenly not working and only cash is allowed. They also refused to send a receipt of the job after.
