Several years back I had the good fortune to run across Hoff and team removing a stubborn tree in someone’s back yard. I was collecting the wood but noticed with keen interest how tactful and careful they were in ensuring no peripheral damage while taking down the tree. Very methodical - almost surgical. They then bucked up the tree AND carried the wood to street side to reduce anxiety for the owners’. Extremely professional and well worth recommending for any tree work you may have.

From the first meeting on site with Alex, to the 6 person crew lead by Jeff Hoff, we were impressed. The site was difficult and dangerous. Jeff and his team cut down 3 HUGE maples and 2 other smaller trees. It was wet, horrendous work; there was no room for a splitter down where the trees were so each cut round had to be hand split and manually carried up a hill! We wouldn’t hesitate to hire Hoff Tree Services in the future and highly recommend this business. They were professional, on time and even on the wettest days, smiling and polite. An outstanding, first class operation from start to finish.

Hoff tree service are truly masters , I had one 60 feet hemlock and half broken Alder in my back yard with almost 60 degrees slope that no one could cut or get close but Hoff tree services finish the job less than one hour it was amazing, I definitely recommend these company if any one want a professional and decent prices . They came fast, friendly, and opened up a huge view with some very precise and skilled cuts. Smart to work from our top deck with a chainsaw on a pole, fun to watch. Much safer than ladder work. They were careful to move stuff that could’ve gotten broken by the fallen branches, and they are doing a great job tidying up as we speak. I’ll use these folks again anytime, and I’ll be recommending them to all of my friends and clients. Here are the before and after photos.

The only tree service the north shore residence should turn to! They are truly masters of their trade! I was in awe to see how fast, efficient, with prefect skill and friendly their team was. I called this morning with an emergency. They were there by 230pm! They are fair, honest and I was proud to have them there. Very quick response to request for service, showed up the next day for a consult and then came the following day to do the work. All staff was extremely polite, professional, on time and always asked for input during the work to make sure it was done correctly. Immaculate cleanup at the end of the day including areas that they didn't touch. Highly recommend them.

We live right next to a District park and green space so our house is surrounded by trees. We made the right choice by contacting Hoff Tree Services, recently.Firstly, they came right on time, consulted with us regarding the work, advised us about District regulations and assisted us with a general understanding of what could be removed.Secondly, they sent their crew who again came when expected. The guys worked quickly and safely returning later in the day for chipping and clean up.Lastly, Hoff Tree Services assisted us with District form work to survey the diseased trees in the green space which could affect our home. Jeff was easy to deal with and showed skills higher than most. He took down 120 foot cedars on my land with ease and did zero damage in the process. I would recommend him fully. You will not find a stronger more capable arborist in my opinion who is also quite humble considering the immense experience, high skill level, and deep family history of lumberjacks.

We had 4 trees in our backyard and we asked Hoff tree to cut them for us. They did an awesome job! Very professional, fast and clean. They also did stump grinding. Everything was done perfectly at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Service was great. Pruning was done exactly as we asked and our yard and driveway were left spotless after.
